  1. I would probably retro-actively concede the putt, but not before making a huge self-righteous stink about it. "WELL, I WASN'T planning on conceding that putt, but you know what, honest mistake on your part, and tell you what, you can have it this time. NO NO NO, I insist. ROOKIE MISTAKE and all. Please, you obviously wanted the putt and felt you should have it, so here you go, you can have it. I am telling you now, ITS GOOD. Happy?"
  2. I've seen it a few times in my decade of playing. It is too bad there aren't more females in recreational golf. It is a game for everyone. Too bad it's dominated by males.
  3. I would like to point out that that is a preposterous scenario and clearly misrepresents my opinion. I am not an idiot, if that's what you are implying. If I "owned a bank" I certainly would not approve of the scenario you are describing. Good day, sir.
  4. Having read every reply in this thread I can only conclude that this is a moral grey area. In such a situation I defer to the old golden rule. (Good old Jesus!) If I was the proprietor of a golf practice range, and people were pocketing the odd Pro-V1 that made its way into circulation, I don't think I could blame them. And I would consider it incumbent upon myself to pick the premiums out and re-sell or repurpose them before they have a chance to tempt any of the customers.
  5. I can't speak about the broadcast, but this four-hole gap you are referring to never happened. There was no catching up either because they never fell that far behind. Park and Kim are not slow players either. Park's movements might seem deliberate but she is a model of efficiency. When it's her turn, she is ready to go. Among the leaders Karrie Webb was the slowest player by far, and she was either third or fourth to last out on Sunday. I also attended Saturday, when Webb was in the final group with Sei Young Kim. They did fall about a hole behind. Other than that, I did not witness any other instances of slow play among the leaders. Q.E.D.
  6. LIES. I attended today's round and followed the final group. We were pushing up against the group ahead. Kim and Park waited on just about every shot.
  7. PEOPLE SHOULD PLAY THE FARTHEST TEES FORWARD AND ONLY MOVE BACK ONCE THEY CAN BREAK PAR.
  8. He could probably be elected to the WGHOF at least four times though.
  9. Sounds like a great day, a uniquely Coloradoan combo of sports. I want to try it too. I would probably want to add 9 bong loads to the festivities.
  10. I think Fowler is pretty boring and short on charisma. He has won twice on tour, and both times didn't know how to celebrate. At the core of his being he is modest and reserved. His golf game is pretty reserved too. Not that there's anything wrong with any of that. But you can't keep feeding people this hollow-ringing propaganda about him being so charismatic and exciting. His much-celebrated style isn't even stylish, it's just novel. (Or was novel.) When you look at Fowler photos from 2,3 years ago they already look pitifully dated.
  11. I like how she made sure to get the boobs inside the frame. She looks like a girl who is constantly working it. It wouldn't surprise me if Rickie is gay.
  12. Don't think I could come up with a smarmier answer than Mr. Nicklaus's, so I'm out.
  13. I don't believe it's cheating but I applaud their hard line stance. End could justify the means IMO.
  14. It's one thing to obsess over Tiger Woods's golf game, what's in the golf bag, what kind of shoes he's wearing, even over his polo shirts. But when the obsession veers into another man's sex life, a line has been crossed IMO.
  15. See how much life has changed for Jordan, he can no longer shoot a 74 and not have everyone get on his case about it. Godspeed young man!
