1. I shot a 96 today in the rain for the front 9 ... so I am happy with it considering what it could have been,
2. OK I admit I am too stupid to live ... I can see where I can empty my messages, share my messages, but for the life of me I can find how to delete a individual message ... Also like the new site, and thanks to all for the efforts to migrate us!

4. Depending on the first tee and the hazards, I get really tense on the first tee ... once off the first tee I am seem to be OK. In the early days even a tight house lined fairway struck fear into me ... and usually I managed to nail a roof. The video on this site on how to stop slicing cured that fear for me ...
5. I still use a 5-7 wood that I have closer to a 7 ... I love the club, but have been considering a 3-4 hybrid. I just have not found the one I like yet.
6. Lift and clean during wet conditions ...
7. Very slow swings focused on Key1 ... then it off the mat about 3/4 speed.
8. Great question! Love the feed back as well. For me it is easy to stay behind the ball, and swing with my arms ... which seems to promote an over OTT / outside/in swing ... believe me, I have nailed my share of roof tops! Admittedly I have gotten better thanks to the help here and Evolvr, but it is easier for me to slice than hit it straight'ish ... seems to be my default swing.
9. We used to do it on a short 9 hole course ... Driver, 8i, Pw ... it was actually fun times.
10. You are right ... Holy crap batman, I am getting old ... seems like a few years ago. I do feel for the students, as they signed on in good faith.
11. I would go with the young guns. Perhaps an assistant caption spot for one of them??? If any one of them do make it, I think it would be Phil.
12. Outside with the putter ... distance control was the main focus.
13. Wow, you would think they would have learned a few years back ...
14. Golf is purely social for me. There are no bets, everyone plays their own game, and at the end of the round there is none of the "I got you by two strokes" ... its a joy to be out and golfing with good friends. With that mentality the score is secondary. While I try hard to do the best I can, I accept it when I make a bad shot.
15. Thanks for that clarification ... makes more sense now ...
16. I disagree, because he has the credentials for the HOF ... I do not feel declining the HOF is the place to make his point. The HOF should be a place that in the future people could visit and learn more about this guy named Tom Watson. I think his decision is shortsighted.
17. Inside ... stuck on a conference call ... put it on mute, half listened, and did the office chair drill while playing a round of golf in my head ...
18. I love old threads ... I sometimes hit my 3w farther off the deck, than my driver off the tee ... I don't think "driver off the deck" is an option for an "i suk" golfer (aka High handicap) ... just too many things have to be right for shot to work ...
19. Did pretty good for me. I let a couple of drives get away, and I was hitting irons to the left ... but if felt good to be back on my home turf and scoring better. http://www.gamegolf.com/player/kensisland/round/604826
20. Getting fitted for Edel wedges ... next on my list. I love my Edel putter, and look forward to the wedges.
21. Practiced distance control 20+ feet, since I was on a real practice green today before my round.
22. Playing tomorrow, worked on my setup, as well key 1 and key 2 ... outside on my "backyard range"
23. Back on the putting green for a quick practice outside ... busy day!
24. If I compared Jim's job to mine ... I'd say I take sick days off ... so no if I am Jim If the question is, would I ... yes I would
25. One of my issues, and the one that anyone that tees up with me for the first time comments on, is my speed in setup and hitting it ... after watching the vlog today and getting Mike's explanation I practiced his approach and setup ... I think it will slow me down a bit and get me more "into" the shot ... I am encouraged, and will put it into play on the next round ...
