I highly recommend Windswept Dunes. The clubhouse is not fancy, but the course is great and reasonable.

We played Emerald Bay last summer it was nice, replays are super cheap. $25 Windswept Dunes is in Freeport, about 25 miles from Destin. really liked it.

Played in a charity scramble this summer. 25 teams of 4. They had 11 draw prizes, 4 King Cobra drivers, 4 Bushnell Range finders, 2 hats and a visor. For $20 you got 2 mulligans and a draw ticket, for $5 more you got an extra draw ticket, so I bought an extra one. Out of 100 players got my ticket drawn TWICE ! Won a hat and a visor.

Kirkland (Costco) Premium Golf Ball
jusanothajoe replied to Brad W's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Got mine yesterday. Played 17 1/2 holes with the same one today (hit it in the water on 18) I can find nothing wrong with these balls. Long off the driver, drop and stop on greens. Actually had a 317 yard, GPS verified drive. (wind behind me, elevated tee box, hard fairway) but still as far as I have ever hit one. I ordered 4 more dozen before free shipping ends. Usually rotate between ProV1, ProV1x, (mostly) and Project(a), Volvik Crystal. The Ksig played as good for me as any of these. For the money don't see how you can go wrong. -

I use Dry Grip lotion, works for me. Lasts about 9 holes, then I reapply. -

Course in Destin Florida, water everywhere and I was playing particularly bad that day. 17 balls in 18 holes

I have played the RTJ courses in Muscle Shoals, They both were great. Haven't played the RTJ in Huntsville. Don't get to play up that way much
-
I second Farmlinks, Ballantrae and Timberline. Sometimes Farmlinks puts on a special around holidays. Also Cider Ridge in Oxford is a nice affordable course. Favorite RTJ course is Opelika.

All conservatives are not republican. I am an American that happens to be conservative. But I doubt I will see a Demo in my lifetime I would vote for. Out if all the Republican nominees for President, the worst one would be better than any Demo nominee ( to me)

This sums it up better than I have ever heard

Welcome from another conservative. Lots and lots of liberals here, and they don't like you using the "L" word

Great job. I haven't built one from scratch, but I did buy a blank blade and some handle blanks, and put one together. Had to the shape handles and install with rivets. Wanted to use a Damascus blank. The handles are corn cob infused with a polymer. Damascus blank wasn't that expensive, around $60.

Must be a quantity thing. I bought 2 fifty pound bags a month ago and all I had to show was money.
