I agree to an extent with the OP. I personally would have let it go and used a demo if it had the same shaft and possible degree to the driver that got scratched unless the manager was being a butt about his mistake. but for the sake of an argument lets say a customer walks in and is looking at a new driver and it slips out of his hand and damages it just cosmetically what would the owner demand? you paying for it to be refinished or paying for it in full?

Yup I am one and have the hat which is nice

Not all GPS units have monthly fees or pay per course. I have a sonocaddie XV2 and its totally subscription free after you purchase the unit. They also have excellent customer service and will map most course for you in less than 14 days or you have a feature that you can also map it your self if they don't have it mapped. After using it a month its a pretty good unit.

By my Wife which doesn't count If she knew golf a little better then she would see the hard reality that my game sucks

I always used a blade back before I quit about 10 years ago and loved it but since starting back up I had issues lining up my puts with a blade so I picked up a 2 ball white steel and love it. It helped me line my putts up better and I am getting better everyday with it. Its pretty much what you have confidence in. I would hit up your local shop and try everything until you get to what you have the best feel with. That's how I picked out the 2 ball for myself. I tried every blade, mallet and even belly putters i could find and the 2 ball stood out the most and I don't regret it none. Good luck

I decided today that i am going to take a few lessons. I read and practice a lot but something is not clicking. I am very inconstant with my Driver and my irons even thought i am getting better with them could use some improvements.

Sad to hear, I hope Amy a speedy recovery and my prays are with them. I sure will miss Phil but I understand family is always first. Good luck Mick family and god bless

Thank You! I couldn't visualize what you were saying about the hips then i found this video of Hogans swing (2nd video close to the bottom). I actually worked on that today and when i made good contact and made the divot in front of the ball I gained about 25 yards on my 9 iron. I was only hitting my 9 about 125 when I would sweep the ball but when I did hit down correctly I was hitting it around 150 I am hitting some fat shots but Rome wasn't built in a day and I will keep working on it Hogan http://www.••••••••••••••••••.com/golfswings_pro/

I take at least one on every shot. I am starting to hook my driver some so I do a half swing to ensure my face is square then a full swing just to help me visualize what I need to do. I am a hacker and anything to get my confidence up on a shot is a plus. I am seeing a huge difference in my Driver and Iron play with less fat and bad tee shots. Now if i can get my putting to come around I would be in business

My wife got me the Callaway set for Christmas that has the Flags in it. I usually put one on each side of my yard and try to land it on or close to the flag. One flag I use my Gap wedge and practice the hinge and hold and on the other coming back I usually try to flop it with my sand wedge. This has helped me feel on confident with my chipping and I can tell some improvements when playing.

Only when I am in the fairway on a extremely wet day. My home course fairways are really bad and doesn't have much bermuda. THere is actually a club rule that you can improve your lie because of the fairway condition. I usually don't figuring if I can hit on that I can hit it on anything.

Here in my town an owner has an automatic ball dispenser and a token machine. All he does is collect balls every couple days and mows the lawn. Pretty much he just collects his cash and refills the machine and that's about it. He's a doctor so this is just a sideline for him.

If your riding I like to take an extra towel to wrap around the grips of my clubs if i have to take 2 or more to the green area with me for chipping. That way when you lay them on the ground the grip stay good an dry.

I lost a ball just looking at that hole
-
I went with the towel the other stuff I would just stick in a drawer and forget about it.

I will be tuned in tonight. I really enjoyed the last couple of seasons.

I found a two way chipper in the trash at the 6th hole at my home course. I almost pulled it out but just couldn't make my self do it .

My mom just had me order what I wanted so I am getting an Odyssey White steel 2 ball SRT putter (need to replace the $10 Dunlop i have) and I am not sure what my wife is getting me but anything for golf is always good

Best Ball for High Handicapper?
Jell0b0y replied to juanrjackson's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I have used Prov1s and they are great balls but at my current skill level i won't spend $50 a dozen for them and I don't have to use them to feel fully into the game. Now I will say once I get better will I start using them maybe but as for now I can't afford a ball that expensive to use and lose and throw money away when D2s or gamers will do until my swing mechanics get better. I had a really bad slice and provs made it worse. I can hit the ball straighter when driving but I am not ready to use that caliber of a ball until I get better or a raise. -
Good idea, I am going to give this a try since I hit my Irons fat and take my eye off the ball.

20+ handicappers hitting 300 yards (mild rant)
Jell0b0y replied to extremeld's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I am currently a round 30 and have cranked out a few 300 yard drives but I have played before about 9-10 years ago and trying to put the pieces back together. The main reason I am a 30 is iron play with duffs and fat shots and when I do get on in 2 then i 3 putt. I only practiced with my driver since I started back and no wedges until know since my driving average is 250-270 yards. I have hit a few 300 drives but my course doesn't water there fairways so I get a good 50 yard bounce and roll in the heat of the summer here. -
35 I played about 10 years ago but had to drop it but I am back with a vengence to get better than when I stopped.
