  1. I'm more focused on TW's swing than why BC is liked or not.
  2. Worked on the Hogan-like waggle seeing if I could get it to reconcile with the angle of the arms and hands hanging naturally....specifically the lead hand.....and then get that to reconcile with the right hand position on the cover of his book ....went well...will check it tomorrow.
  3. mjrowe...read this article on good and bad swings...this supports my contention it is small things that make the difference, not big muscle swing moves.
  4. What about that TW 2001 swing...was that right?
  5. Dan is perfectly qualified to give advice.I don't think Dan is charging around dishing out unsolicited advice...people ask him.
  6. No one disagrees....I would say Dan is likely operating well within the understood norms.....shhh
  7. Shocking!....unheard of....get out the fine tooth comb for everyone.
  8. I did begin to pursue it and your answer was the above. The "powers that be" on this forum like to keep their fingers hovering over the "warning" trolling button if I appear to be pursuing a point, especially one that isn't being received.
  9. Bill...I pointed out what I consider a swing flaw on your part, lowering the hands, you didn't seem to think it was all that relevant....nuff said......I then asked you about hinging...no big deal either..it just happens.....nuff said.
  10. 250...that's starting to be serious.
  11. Right, it's one's own opinion.........now get out there and hit 500 balls a day.
  12. Phil..this is quite the outburst.I seem to be having fairly good exchanges with others .I don't really see your acidic tones as something I need to judge my presence by,nor pay much attention to.
  13. The Dan tournament results are a red herring. No one has shown his HC less valid than 23 million others.
  14. Newtogolf......I don't why I am getting a Lihu quote but I can't get rid of it....anyway,Phil said the Dan plan was dead..did he not?...it still has 4000 hr to go.
  15. Do you have any thoughts on the hinging and cocking of the lead wrist?...ie: is it pre-set or manipulated or something that just happens?
  16. You do exhibit a negative tendency towards those outside the traditional golf paradigm....I'm not sure your name alone can justify that.
  17. If you agree that you are lowering your hands just before takeaway, this suggests to me you are not comfortable with the lead hand hinge you have so you are trying to get that feeling you want.
  18. Cheers dkolo....complicated biz this swing motion....I find it is much easier to make a 90* shoulder turn while maintaining a perfectly stable head position if one of the feet is flared more than the other.Having said that,we are told all body types are different so where does that leave us?
  19. Regarding the flared feet......IMO the feet should have some flare but not equally otherwise they neutralize the desired effect.IMO the lead foot should flare more than the back...although it is alright to do the opposite...but both can't be heading east and west at 25 or 30 *
  20. Right....so if he goes to the course and shoots 100,you know it's mental which of course affects the mechanics.
  21. Bill...it's hard to say and easier to see in the slo-mo but I think I see this as the graphic describes.....possible?
  22. It's the small things we don't pay enough attention to that mess us up.A big problem with golf is the real and feel issue.Standing over the ball ready to go can feel the same whether right or wrong. When you KNOW the pieces are in the right place ,then you can hit 4 balls in 45 secs like Tom Watson does in a youtube video.
  23. Bill ...looks pretty good.....16.8 HC...where do you lose shots?...do full shots go where you want them to?
  24. Notice you have a big hip turn(too much) which I sometimes think means the golfer is initiating the swing with the hips and not the lead shoulder..and you have the sliding right knee on takeaway...also that forward hand press likely means you know you want to be going in that direction but just aren't sure how to get things leaning that way.
