For practice at the range I will usually wear my beloved Callaway hat with a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. For actual rounds I will wear shorts with a collard shirt, along with my Callaway hat and a belt.

I try to just get a little bit of my razor into the tape to where I know I'm not touching the shaft. After that all you basically have to do it just a start peeling away. Took me no more than 2 minutes to get the old tape off my wedge.

Here in Michigan, I can golf any course within 20 miles of me for almost under $30. We do have a couple higher end courses with can range from $50-$80 a round. Golfnow has some great deals to were I can get a round of 18 with a cart for $12.

I voted a short par 3 because as a beginner I find it my best chance to be excited. If I pop one close to the hole I start hoping it rolls in for an ace but then hope I can make a birdie. Helps boost my confidence when I can make par or even a birdie.

It is a very smal league with only 4 teams. I would guess their eventual goal is to expand but I would guess they end up like the leagues @mcanadiens said above and fold. I know they just added the team in St Clair Shores, Michigan which is right around me. They got a decent amount of publicity and they expect to get a decent crowd to each game. Hoping I can make it out for atleast a few.

First day of men's individual golf will start on Thursday.

Just watched all the women's rugby games and let me tell you are those entertaining. Kinda sucks USA took a loss in the quarterfinals.

Got to go to a few of the FHL games up here in Michigan. I was very surprised at the quality of hockey. Was hoping the league would have expanded instead of getting rid of a team and adding one.

ECHL is a great league to watch. Very exciting if you get the right teams! Hope you get to make it out!

Does anyone have an indoor setup option I could possible do in my basement when I'll be unable to golf outside. My basement has more than enough room I just don't know what type of materials to use to make an awesome setup. Thanks, Robert

First par was on a 150 yard downhill par 3. Hit an 8-iron on the green about 30 yards from the cup. Lag putted to about 6 feet for a nice par. Was a great feeling having my dad with me for it.

Had a round just like ya yesterday. Driving was the only thing that seemed to be decent. Couldn't hit my irons at all. Was topping every ball I hit with my irons. Anyone have any tips on taking those divots after the ball cause that seemed to be my main issue yesterday. Hey we will make up our scores next time though!!!! :) Glad you've improved so much Dave! I always say there is no bad time to practice and improve. Those approach shots to me seem to make or break my round and I'm glad you are hitting those GIR

All I'm asking for is someone to update a course as I can't myself. I have emailed oobgolf multiple times with no response. Just trying to get a course updated that's all.

GREAT JOB!!! I found getting to the green on your approach is the way to break any goal you have. It was and still is something I'm trying to improve upon. I also trying to work on those close chips, because you can't always hit the green :)
