  1. same, middle of stance.
  2. Then use your Hybrid. Where does it say that you HAVE TO hit your drive off the tee? Use what works for you!
  3. I lose probably 20yrds due to this BUT i have a really bad slice and the OS and 10.5º help me control it. I want more distance but i also prefer to hit out of the short grass vs the long rough/bush! For me and my swing i can't go with a 9 or 9.5º driver...if i do it'll be a crazy slice. I've accepted the fact that i will never be a LONG driver. oh well, I'm gonna concentrate on other aspects of the game to improve my scores, ie mid irons.
  4. I bought a sleeve of the Gamer on the weekend and I LOVED THEM. They felt great off the driver and with my iron shots...not the same spin as the PRO V1x that i normally hit but i can't suck the ball back anyways. Sleeve of Gamer $6.99 CDN Sleeve of Pro V1x $15.99 CDN I will be using these golf balls regularilty for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I have the LS Speed Off-Set driver and i agree with the sound, way too high pitched! My ball goes very high but I have the 10.5º OS to help me slice less. It helps with my slice tho.
  6. My gf has the 8 pc graphite shaft set and she loves them! Adams is a very good brand of clubs. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
  7. I've rode a segway but not a golf pkg one...it was so fun. It was a demo in a mall around here so it wasn't very far and it was inside but it was awesome. Just thinking about taking one golfing makes me smile. "If I had a million dollars..."
  8. Thanks guys. I already hit the Noodle+ and love them. i think I'll try a sleeve of the Pinnacle.
  9. What ball would you recommend purely for distance? I'm going in a Scamble Tourney next week and want to get a ball for distance off the tee for "Long Drive" contest. Thanks
  10. My gf just bought some Adams clubs and got the graphite shafts and she loves them. She had an older set of steel shafts and the new ones with the graphite are alot nicer for her. The biggest diff is that they are lighter. IMO go with graphite. Plus i think most womens sets are graphite, might be hard to find steel.
  11. First thing, goes to show how important short game is. Also, what i do after this happens to me, go out for a few rounds and don't keep score, maybe even hit 2 balls per hole. I'll also drop a ball at my best shot, maybe its a hybrid from 200 yrds or a wedge from 100 yrs...something that you know you'll make for sure. This will build confidence. Just go out and relax, hit some balls and get the feel back. My next round is always good after one of those rounds!
  12. I've gotten a lot better at putting this year and i attribute it to aiming... by using the alignment markings on the ball (from factory or by me with alignment tool and sharpie). Look at the putt to see where you want to hit the ball, aim the marking to were you want to hit it. keep your head down and hit the ball in the direction of the alignment marking. Hit it straight. this will allow you to focus on the speed/tempo of the putt...because you have already aimed it. And of course practise practise practise.
  13. Buy what feels good to you. If you are more comfortable with one in your hand you'll have more confidence and therefore make more putts. Putt with a few different ones and see what feels better to you.
  14. I've been reading and adding to this forum for about 1-2 months now and have gotten alot of good tips and drills. I recently shot my personal best for 9 holes yesterday. I shot a 38 at our local course, Lloydminster Golf and Country Club. I shot it on the front 9, par 36, white tees, Slope rating 70.6/124, 3085 yrd. 7 pars and 2 bogeys! Thanks again for the tips.
  15. I carry both a 3W and a 3 iron Hybrid with 20º loft. i prefer to hit my 3H because its more consistant, for me anyways. i'd rather give up a little distance to be on the fairway or green for my next shot vs the rought and closer.
  16. Does anyone know a good link for a proper grip?
  17. That sounds like an awesome drill. I'm a picker not a divot maker and i think a drill like this will do wonders for my mid-long iron shots. Now, why didn't I think of that before?...ha ha Thanks
  18. sleeve of pro v1 and pro v1x bunch of scuffed balls ball marker divot repair tool sharpie rain jacket hat rain gloves spare gloves (old ones) rolaids bug spray and sun block
  19. Last trip to Golftown (canada) i bought a new putter... Nike 0Z #3 34" and a box of 2008 Pro V1x balls.
  20. About the comment about not being strong enough... it's more your swing than your strength. I see young kids at our local course out drive me all day long... I'm 5'9" 187 lbs and go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I'm way stronger than them but they have way better form/technique that me. Strength will help but until your swing is better you'll just be wasting the strength. Plesae don't take this the wrong way... I'm in the exact same situation as you. Lessons and proper practice will help.
  21. I too have a 54º and love it. I also have a 60º but hated using it so i bought this 54º and haven't used my 60º since.
  22. I'm a picker as well. I've tried taking divots but just can't do it...i spray all the shots i try to the left. oh well.
  23. I'd have to say Tiger, he is so dominate.
  24. There was a segment to this exact question on the Golf Channel today... the program was "the Golf Fix". I can't find the exact video but it should be on there. Here is another good vid that is similar: http://www.thegolfchannel.com/core.a...&select2;=12066
  25. I see you have +2*, is the balling flying higher than before?
