This is really disappointing.

To see the differences in ball flight... how it looks at address in the different settings. Also different shafts. Turns out I ended up using standard loft and lie...Ahh also forgot removing it for air travel in a soft case...

I've removed my driver head many times (easily double digits) for various reasons and haven't had any problems. It is also 8 years old.

I just watched my last Evolvr driver lesson. I'm going to see if I've made any progress since then. I've been on cruise control for a while so now is as good a time as any to get back on the wagon thanks.

It's been a while since I've posted a swing video, so I guess I'll put one up to commemorate my first round without a double bogie or worse. Can't believe it took this long geez. At the moment, this is the best I've hit my irons/wedges. Driver meh...

Even better as it's native.

I have never used it but freefilesync looks like it may be able to do what you want.

This sounds like me, but I had problems more than once a year. I also lift 4 days a week and have been doing so for about 30 years. I've played multiple competitive sports starting from childhood into my late 20s and have always dealt with pain causing incidents. I started swinging a club in the early summer of 2017. For the first 3 years I visited my doctor multiple times for various problems with my sacroiliac joint, rotator cuff, tendinitis, pinched nerves in my neck, lower back pain. All resulting in days or weeks of recovery. I made some changes and now it's been 2 years since I've had any physical problem that prevented me from swinging a club. Here's what I have done over those years: - Changed my posture at address. (This is how I found TST in 2017. I read the "Good Golf Posture" topic. I had way too much anterior pelvic tilt.) - Changed the way I work out. (Went to dumbbells exclusively. Systematically identified/eliminated exercises that caused problems. Wide grip anything, dips, dead-lifts, dumbbell rows, and some others. Increased focus on strengthening my back/neck/glutes/hamstrings.) - Found out how to recover quicker from the pinched nerve in my neck. (I found out an inflamed/cramped muscle next to my shoulder blade was the cause. I use a percussion massager on that spot and my recovery time went from 5-7 days to 1-2.) - Cut down on sugar in my diet. (Went to black coffee, no sweetened beverages, limited sweets, etc. This is when I stopped having the pinched nerve problem.) - Stopped taking NSAIDs unless absolutely necessary. (I was popping ibuprofen at the drop of a hat. I would take them before a round of golf. Now I only take them once in a blue moon when I have a headache.) There's probably more but that's all I can think of at the moment.

You can place something under the front of that mat so when a ball drops down it bounces backwards into the net. Maybe a pool noodle. Topped balls will destroy that pool noodle though. "A friend" told me that... Also, I don't know how many balls you plan on hitting, but think about getting a pre-net to hang in front of the main net. I blew a hole through mine in less than a year. My replacement net has lasted over 3 years using small nets hanging in front.

I've been playing for about 5 years. In that time I've probably had 10 or so putts for eagle on par 5s. I've only made 3 of them. My first one was from about 15 feet. The other 2 were kick-ins. The ball can roll really far on hard fairways in the desert. The 4 guys I've regularly played with during that time have never reached the green in 2 on a par 5.

Thank you for this. I’m at a little over 3 years and it’s about time to replace mine. My GP MCCs didn’t even last a year…

I use an old cracked Samsung S8+ and it works great. It records 720p @ 240fps. When I'm done recording a swing, I can trim the video and view it within 5 or 10 seconds.

I second this. I used Oakley Prizm Dark Golf for a few years and recently switched to Prizm Golf. They are slightly lighter. They are also prescription lenses. I only lose sight of my ball when it goes into the houses...

Alternative to Sharpies for Marking Balls?
KoHo replied to DoubleAce's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Pretty sure commercial ball printers use some sort of UV curable ink. Maybe buy some of that ink, a UV curing box, and use a tiny brush or toothpick to transfer the pattern. -
Pretty sure you just need your reservation (at MGM Resorts properties except luxor, excalibur, & I think nyny) number to book a round. I think winter/summer is $750 per round and fall/spring is $1000.

Great to hear you had a good time @Sandhills Golfe

Outdoor Practice Driving Net
KoHo replied to RoberX's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Just put a second hole in my pre-net and the main net is still going strong with no signs of wear. -
I haven't been out there in over a month so I can't really say anything about the current conditions. Those Angel Park courses are always near the top of my list when it comes to course conditions for reasonably priced tee times.

Here is the overseed schedule if you're looking for more courses... https://snga.org/2021-overseed-schedule/

USGA GHIN App Has GPS Feature (and Other Updates)
KoHo replied to boogielicious's topic in Golf Talk
Cancel that...they are available now .. -
Are you using a tee? If so, see what your scores are without teeing up. The shots will more closely resemble your approaches on a full length 18 hole course.

USGA GHIN App Has GPS Feature (and Other Updates)
KoHo replied to boogielicious's topic in Golf Talk
Looks like a great feature, but unfortunately at the moment they don't have any courses near me that it will work on. I contacted them through the app asking if they had a current list of all supported courses. I got an immediate response stating they don't have a list available. -
I found my old Classic unit and opened it up. The battery/plug is the same as the original one in my Live unit.
-
If you have the Live unit with the flat style belt clip, two of the screws will be partially covered so you may have to remove it to get at them. You will have to slide something thin like a tiny flat head screwdriver in between the clip and the body to pry up and release the tab that prevents the clip from sliding off the body.
-
Fairly simple to replace. I will be replacing my second battery pretty soon here. It's puffed and won't hold a charge anymore.
