  1. That makes a lot of sense, I hadnt thought of ball compression, thanks. FYI We are both hitting 9.5 degree, stiff shaft drivers (he inherits my old ones). He is playing Nike slingshot irons with regular flex steel shafts, I am hitting r7 TP’s with stiff steel. I liked the loft theory so I went looking on the internet but what I found was that my clubs play 1 degree weaker. So here’s how it goes just to clarify: Saturday we go out to a local Muni, I was hitting the 907 D2 driver, he was hitting the HiBore XL. On number 5 I hit driver to 272 (measured with sky caddie) he hits 281. The rest of the round he was maybe 5 yards either side of me. Sunday we go out again but trade drivers (he’s not giving the 907 back he says) and we get the same results, maximum of 5 yards difference. On number 9, dead into a stiff wind I get him by 20 – 25 yards. Its just confusing to me but oh well it has been fun watching him the past few months. The highlight for me was watching hit a short par 5 (very short – 460ish) in two with driver – 6 iron. Hey Ben – I’m doing well thanks. I looking forward to following you mini tour play thread this year…. Light it up, that way when I get back down that way I can ask for a crap load of pops
  2. My son (14 years old) is hitting his driver close to the same yardages as me (sickening I know) but he plays his irons about 2 clubs less than me, anyone have any clues as to why the difference in irons yardages?
  3. none for me but I got a Yes Callie for my son.
  4. the standard red shaft will bring the flight down because of the higher kick point.
  5. would if I could, but I can't (something to do with my green card) so......... I played 9 holes instead

  8. Me playing a tournament in August at Shadow Valley in Boise.
  9. Here's what I'm lugging around right now for my battle sticks. Looks like its a pretty popular bag!!! I have a family picture hanging on the side of the bag and also a little card with some stats on it. The white tiger cover is on my hybrid. I didnt want to copy Tiger Woods too closely, but those are my initials and we do share the same last name
  10. I can tell the difference between high and low fat cheese by looking at it. I can tell the salt % to with .10% in a young cheese curd. Its a little harder in an aged cheese. Someone shoot me!!!!!!!!!! I can also tell if I have shanked a ball before I look up
  11. If he wins today I dont think we will see him before the open. If I not we will see him play again because he will want to go into the open with a win.
  12. I was going to say the exact same thing. I always tee up back a little, just to make sure.
  13. I played them for the first couple of years after I got back into the game. Nothing wrong with them at all. I think you could do a hell of a lot worse.
  14. Couldnt agree more. It doesnt matter what hole they are playing... lowest score wins.

  16. dude you said sh@nk like 6 times in one post!!!!!!!!!! I'm staying away from this thread!!!!!!!!!!! but before I go.... it always helps me to close my stance way down and gradualy work my way back to square. Good luck
  17. If you are right on the border then I would say it depends what you’re looking for. If you want distance go with the Reg, but if you want accuracy go with the Stiff.
  18. here's mine from my 3 wood, or 1 hybrid.
  19. I would say the new 100k has to be close to the 150k mark. In my industry I see people making 100k in positions that would have been no where near that years ago. You will also notice that although that is a hell of a salary, the people making it dont live as extravagantly as before.
  20. take your wrists out of the shot. This should help keep a lower flight
  21. I used to play Slazenger Ballesteros blades before I moved to the US in '92 and in the chrome finish they were gorgeous!!! Plus when you weren’t playing golf you could cut bread, shave, or cut down trees with them.

I noticed Don Donatello on Kevin Na's bag (double D from big break II), I hadnt noticed him before. Is he his regular caddie?
  24. no, it just sits there.... kinda like flying out of Chicago
  25. I got a chance to hit the i10's in a net the other day and they felt really, really, good... I may have to count the change in the jar and see if I can swing getting a set!!!
