78 (40/38) @ Whittle Springs GC. (par 70 course) Best round ever. Haven't been on here in a while, but remembered why I love this site so much, after about 20 seconds.

88 (43/45) @ Cedar Hills in VA. Never quite caught on to green speeds that were much slower than what I am used to, but beyond that pretty happy. Chipped quite well.

Sunday: 85 (45/40) @ Knox Municipal Yesterday: 89 (46/43) @ Dead Horse Lake

Played 9 @ Knox Muni. Shot a 46, which I am pretty happy about considering I haven't played since Nov. Lots of rust in my putting game, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised with the rest of my game. Beautiful sunny day, 37 degrees (which made the ball feel like 5 lbs.)

I got a really good deal on a Callaway driver and 4-sw set, and I had intentions of buying other Callaway products. But one day at Dick's I saw a friend who had just hit a Cleveland HiBore XLS 3w and he loved it, so I tried one and walked out of there with it that day. I liked the Cleveland 3w so well that I also got the 7w eventually. My gap wedge and putter (both Cleveland) were purchased based on feel. I am not exclusively a Callaway and Cleveland only guy, it just kind of worked out that way. I can still have one more club, and I am leaning toward the HiBore XLS 5w because I LOVE the feel and results (mostly) of the 3 and 7.

I don't drink at the course very often, but a little booze calms me down, and I have shot some of my better rounds when I was drinking. Only with a non-drinker to drive home too, might I add.

Currently I am really digging Shinedown: Diamond Eyes.

Shot 43 on the back @ Knox Muni. There is an incredible amount of construction/repair going on there but I think it will pay off when it's all done.

That's called "The Barkley." Strangest part of my game: My ball always has a cartoon drawn on it. Backstory: I have a co-worker of whom I draw goofy cartoons all the time because I learned several years ago that it really pisses him off. He's a good dude, and ribs me all the time but he has been pretty mad at me over some of those drawings. He's been a crossdressing cowboy, the cowardly lion, etc. (the one that aggravated him the most was when I drew my version of his colonoscopy.) Anyway, as a gag when I played with him for the first time, I drew his picture on my ball, and had a spectacular round. It's been standard procedure ever since.

No, Boston doesn't belong in there with the Yanks. Philly isn't in the same category yet either, but they may be headed in that direction.

89 (44/45) @ Centennial. Lots of trouble with my 3W and a little trouble with my driver. Chipping was good, putting was decent. Great weather.

84 (41/43) @ Rarity Pointe. Double Bogey was the worst of any hole, but I didn't cash in on 3 birdie opportunities, either. Weather: 78 deg. + No wind + No clouds = Perfect.

Go ahead and put Shiner Bock right up on the top of my list here. Tried it for the first time tonight (because of others' input on this forum) and am instantly a huge fan.

I nailed a full swing SW from about 70 yards out, steeply uphill, to within about 3 ft.

I'm a commercial/industrial carpenter. I don't get to do a lot of casework except in my garage (some cabinets, bookcases, toyboxes, etc.) but I really enjoy it. I like the intricate stuff. Welcome to the forum.

88 (42/46) @ Centennial. I completely imploded on 17, from tee box to the cup. Had a little trouble with my 7W on the front 9, but it's still my best club. Funny sidenote: My wife went with me and fell down in a sprinkler puddle on # 10. She didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did.
