As a 9 handicap, these are my average distances. I've seen some people mentioning they play close to sea level. And I actually play below sea level. Not sure how that affects my distance. I think watching that instructional stuff is good for learning more about the golf swing in general. And entertainment off course. Just don't try to apply everything on your own swing.

I still feel like a hitter, but working on a drill which should make me more of a swinger.

This is ridiculous, I can see that why they punish players who don't play in the pro-am. But a DQ is way too harsh. Bad for the sport.

Without Kaymer's PGA victory I would pick McIlroy without a doubt. Still think McIlroy will have more wins, but it's close. For pure excitement I pick McIlroy without a doubt.

I imagine that for some players it's not too special. Players like Woods, Mickelson, Harrington have multiple major victories, that's what they really play for. Then you have have a couple guys like Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy that will basically fail if they never win a major. Majors are also what they play for. For the rest of the players a Ryder Cup victory probably is the most special they'll achieve. So they probably care most, players like, Ian Poulter, Soren Hansen, Jeff Overton.

I played 3 rounds, 54 holes, about 2 months ago. Longest day of the year competition. Afterwards I felt like I could easily play 18 more. Off course I don't play a very hilly course. Dumbest thing ever, waiting for the fairway to clear I'm standing on the tee of the 54th hole of the day. I look at my ball and think, nice, played the same ball all day. Topped my ball off the tee, boom, water!

Wow, the look in Tiger's eyes is just awesome. Hope to see it again soon! Didn't see this one live, but the 4-iron hit at the President's Cup was pretty sweet. Mostly because of his reaction. Look of a killer in his eyes, hands in the hair when the ball didn't even land yet.

First 9 holes wind hard in our faces, shoot 40. Back 9, downwind, shoot 49. Worst score in months, maybe playing a bit too agressive.
