  1. Right after all the snow melted we got another 2-3" yesterday. Nashville is the south and I'm fed up with winter.
  2. Just busting your stones a bit re: the spaniard. Just because DL3 can't do a proper fist pump and he prisses a bit when he walks don't let him fool you. He's a competitor and wants the role as bad as anybody. I plan to be at Medinah in 2012....hopefully celebrating a US victory!
  3. So in a casual round if I bump my ball in the process of removing my mark what should I do? Should I just put my marker back on the green and reset my ball, obviously informing my playing partners of what happened?
  4. I haven't been able to play due to weather the last three weeks, but I'm loving my MP-63s.
  5. Interesting stereotype. I think DL3 will be a better captain because he's a turkey hunter.
  6. I'm back and forth on this one right now. Option #1 Driver 3W 3h 4-PW 52* 56* 60* Option #2 Driver 3W 2h 3h 4-PW 54* 60* Option #3 Driver 3W 2h 3h 4-PW 52* 56* I've never been a 60* wedge type guy, but the course I joined calls for one too often for me to leave it at home. My PW is a 46* MP-63, which leaves a pretty good sized gap between it and the 54* SW in that option.
  7. I thought it was funny when he caught one fat and called in an Oprah

    It really is...
  9. I didn't realize that Azinger had been the subject of a call in rules event in the past... http://www.golfdigest.com/golf-tours-news/2010-08/photos-rules-blunders#slide=7 Quote: Originally Posted by iacas Paul Azinger said this on Twitter : A TV viewer call in DQ stinks for the player, but no player wants to get away with breaking a rule. 10. He went after it again on 18 yesterday. Thurs he had 305 to the hole; Fri he had 318. Same shot shape with the driver, but on Fri he ended up just short of the green.
  11. What are you having done to your putter? I've considered having mine tweaked a bit.
  12. Now Eric's buddy IJP has gotten involved Quote: Yes the rules r the rules it was a mistake on Camilo's behalf, he didnt know he had done wrong, but people calling in, no 1 likes a snitch
  13. And Lee Janzen said this... Quote: A player breaking a rule on TV is still a rule violation. It's not fair to DQ the next day. If it's a TV caller then add a penalty
  14. Holy crap, Sean and I agree
  15. We aren't going to agree on this one, but sometimes that will happen and so be it. I saw the Camillo clip this AM before work. When he flipped the divot my first thought was, "that's probably not legal", but it also didn't look his ball ended up rolled exactly through the ground he manipulated (on TV anyway). He got DQ'd because somebody called in after he signed his card. It's unregulated interference; if it's going to be allowed then put some rules around it. As it stands it's inconsistent interference.
  16. I vote no, unequivocally. A viewer at home has no business interfering in a tournament. The players and officials are plenty of eyes on the situation.
  17. Just crazy good!
  18. I haven't used Nike's clubs, but the bags are well made. My last Nike stand bag lasted 10yrs. Just got another one (Xtreme III) and it is great. They hold up to a lot of abuse and are a good balance of features for the weight of the bag.

I've become a fan of the UK crew this year. Poulter, G-Mac, Rory...they all have great game and seem to have a lot of fun doing it. I love Rickie Fowler's game, but man that hair and the crazy clothes
  20. Sweet! Looking forward to it.
  21. The Tour Pro designation on Shorty's avatar is due to his number of posts. He isn't claiming to be a tour pro.
  22. For real. His fairway wood shot on #18 in the US Open at Shinnecock might be the most clutch golf shot ever!
  23. Glad he's OK! Returning to finish sounds like something my buddies and I would do. How did you score the round? Did you (a) start over or (b) pick up where you left off? If (b), how did you score the hole?
  24. I have bought from a few sellers, but I look for sellers who have golf shops and a LOT of positive feedback. I picked up new in the package 54* and 60* wedges recently. Great transactions and I saved a lot of money. It helped that I knew exactly what I wanted though.
  25. Congrats Kennay!
