must have been the r9s, ive got the kbs shaft and love them! If you get custom fit you can try all different shafts and get them on a launch monitor!

ive just ordered a 4,5,6 in an ap1! have a full set of ap2s but really struggled with the long sticks due to off centre hits so to sort this i ordered the ap1! hoping this will sort it, seemed like the perfect solution! also matched the shafts so there should be no problem

gps/ rangefinder, having the correct distance for every shot helps everyone who uses them! knowing the distance improves confidance and knowing if you hit a good shot you should be on the dancefloor!

not trying to be an arse, but you must finish the hole using the same ball you started with. You can only change your ball after the hole is finished!

a golf smith friend of mine, always calls that an operator error rarther than club error!

id keep the gps, as said before they have nothing to do with cell phones! plus with gps you get yardage without clear line of sight which you need for a range finder!

i carry a standard pw for about 130 yrds, a 55 for 110, 58 for 90 to 100 and a 64 for 80 to 90! usually chip with my 58, seems to get quite a bit of check with that!

ihave a sonocaddie autoplay which is a nice unit with no subs and free dowloads but to be honest if i was buying one now id get the upro, just gives you so much more and they are really cheap at the moment, pro with thenew model in mind!

IN THE UK, they say 7 to 10 working days, mine came on thr 10th day but it seemed like an age after you order because you cannot wait for them but they are definately worth it!

As the title says, what is soft stepping? What are the pros/cons of having this done?

i love my kbs shafts, cannot speak highly enough of them! i ve noticed about a 5-10 yrd further carry but not as much roll, which is good

i agree, ive got those with the kbs stiff shaft and they are amazing! Best clubs ive ever had, and there has been a few! With your handicap and what your looking to do, it sounds as if you would be suited to something like these!

don't think there is anything wrong with the european tour, every golf course in the world looks and plays different to the next! How can you suggest they stay away from 'your' majors when at least half of the top 10 are brittish or european? Dont forget that if golf was not invented in america, it was invented in scotland, does st andrews look like a muni?

it sucks, we ( England ) had the strongest bid for 2018, we have everything in place already, it was the best financial bid which would have made the most money! We also have a very genorous government which let anyone into the counrty and give them a house and benifits! ( much to my annoyance! ) I Agree that FIFA is corrupt, why else would they let a racist country like Russia hold the world cup! It will be very intresting to see what racial abuse black people get and what FIFA will do about it? Probabaly nothing!

how do you guys manage so much golf? I ve 2 kids, self employed running a buisness, at the moment its dark here at 4 30 and pretty cold ( might get snow today) so if im lucky i might get to the range once a week! and can only play once at the weekend because of family commitments! ( Kids) Wish i could play more but there are not enough hours in the day! Only way i could get out there more is if i told the Mrs i was at work in the day and going golfing instead! Normally have to have the kids when im not at work!

Ive got KBS stiff shafts in my irons and they are awsome, my fitter recommended them for me! I said i was intrested in the project x shafts and went on the monitor and hit my own 6 iron ( cobra S9 2008) and then hit an AP2 with a project x shaft, then an AP2 with a KBS shaft! The results were there to see,got better launch angle less spin and the irons just felt better with the KBS! My fitter said that in his opinion the KBS was a much better shaft than the project x!
