should your left leg be straight or flexed on impact?

Even Tiger Woods has his left leg slightly flexed at impact, and he's the one who popularized really getting that left knee straight. I remember a few times, announcers would analyze his swing, and show how he snaps that knee straight just after impact. But the left leg does have some bend into it, the amount of bend depends on the player.

honestly, most amateurs need more flex in there left leg to promote getting that weight forward at impact. If your straightening it, its most likely you have yuor weight on your back food, and are straightening the left leg just because that's what it looks like at the finish. Its like getting to the finish line way to early.

I had the same concern and did some research some time ago. Most experts agree your left knee should be slightly flexed at impact. It has definitely worked for me.

However, somo pro's, with a lot of practice, straighten their left knee at impact to get a bit more power.

the leg should be a little flexed... it should be a lot flexed before impact, and at impact it should be driving the hip up. kinda like how the trail arm should be a little bent and straighten just after impact.

Driver: 10.5* callaway Razr Hawk Tour - 350 yards(usually into the wind, it can be windy here. at least 400 with a little wind behind me)

Hybrids: 2 and 3 callaway Hybrid razr tour (312 and 287 respectively)
