That's about 35 minutes too much time. :) http://puregrips.com/ http://thesandtrap.com/b/accessories/pure_grips_review http://thesandtrap.com/t/38718/pure-grips

Those look pretty cool. Two things, though... I only regrip my clubs once per year, so the extra 35 minutes doesn't mean much in terms of my decision in what grips feel good to me. Also (and I know this contradicts my previous statement), I have three girls (two teenagers and a 10 yr old). Maybe I WANT the extra 35 minutes in the garage and away from any drama that may be going on in the house ;).

 • 4 months later...
the grip i purchased the X cord golf pride only comes in regular. im trying to build them up to a mid size. how many layers do i need to put on shaft to make it mid-size ?

I use 4 layers to upsize one step (standard to mid, or mis to jumbo).

(if you leave the backing on a double sided tape, consider that 2 layers in the count)

I recently had to take two regulars from standard to jumbo (I wanted certain colors that weren't offered in mid - gp multi-compounds) and added 7 layers to the base tape that already was there.  No issues, about the right size, but you could hear a few cords 'pop' as it was pushed on.....
