Time for some new irons, help me pick em out

I'm headed in for a fitting on Sunday and will probably be headed out with a new set of irons. I'm somewhat new and really have no clue as to what I want, my current clubs are wilson reflexes. What are your suggestions/reviews on 2014 iron sets. My price range is $300-500 and I'm a 90-100 golfer.

I don't know how many iron sets you'll get for $300 to $500 that are really current. Those tend to run $699 and up.

Add in the fitting cost (if they charge one) and you're probably looking at a 2012-2013 set. Which is fine, because technology isn't advancing that fast.

I agree with @iacas . I bought a set of irons last year for around $300, but they were the previous year's model and the store was offering a ridiculous deal on them because it was November. Just go to the fitting, tell the guy your price point, and get what fits you best. Don't worry about the model year.

Go to golfworks.com. Build yourself a set of TE forged 4-gw. You will get out under $300 and have a great set of forged cavity back which are easy to hit and will help you become a better ball striker. If you are looking for Gi or SGI then go Wilson D100 4-Gap. I've owned both (still bag the TE) and thought they were each the best in their respective category.

The TE is on the right compared to the MP60 from mizuno. Same look but little bigger sole and lower cg and higher MOI. The 60 is am awesome club but the TE much more forgiving.
