I have a set of Mizuno MP32's with the DG S300. I am wanting to change shafts partly because of the reviews I am getting from the Black Gold users. My question to you all is have you tried this shaft compared to the other two I mentioned in the title? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ping hoofer bag Ping G15 10.5* Driver, stock reg shaft Ping G15 3 metal, Aldila 75g Stiff shaft Ping G15 5 metal, Aldila 75g Stiff shaft Mizuno MP 69 3-PW irons, DG S300 shafts Mizuno MP R12 black nickel 52* and 56* gap and sand wedges, DG spinner W+ shafts Mizuno 20* FLiHi Clk hybrids, Project X 5.5 shaft 25 year old Bulls Eye putter, 33" or Ping Anser 2 Scottsdale 34" First round of golf was in 1963 at age 10. Best round -1. 2 Holes-In-One.

Would like some info too. I have the 32's and would like to lower the ball flight on my irons.

I haven't hit the black gold shafts in any clubs, but the Project X shafts have given me a more reliable trajectory and better feel than the DG S300 I had previously in my MP-32's. IMO, the Project X shafts are better.

I love the Black Gold Shafts! They are great. I tried the project x as well and they felt pretty good, but the black golds felt better to me personally. The project x(6.0) had the same stiff flex, but they felt a little too "hard" and not as responsive as the BG's.

Lemay, I dont know that the black golds will give you lower ball flight. I for one, hit the ball fairly high with these shafts, but obviously were not the same so I dont know how they would work for you. I would recommend black golds to anyone! very good shafts!

The Black Golds will fly a touch higer than DG's... but not much. For me the Black Golds feel the best of the three... The project X are nice shafts, similar ball flight to the Black Golds, just not as good of a feel.

i've only hit the black gold in the adams idea pro irons and as mentioned there is more feel to them then the project x but for feel i prefer DG. All project x shafts feel dead to me and hence that is why i prefer either s300 or x100. The other problem with project x and black gold is that i already get enough height on my shots and as such i find that in the PX and BG my shots go higher than i would like to see.
