Re: Previous thread variant - list all architects you've 'played'I'm into playing 'interesting' layouts more than anything. Don't mind the courses that wind through housing developments, either. Down in FL, the wife and I play a beautiful track designed by Paul Azinger!
In NE Ohio, we have several Nicklaus designed (2 are Signature course) privates. I've been able to play 3 of the 4. Also played several in FL as well. Really enjoy his courses even though I'm a L to R player. Many of his courses setup better for the fade. And I usually pay in strokes for this reason.
Literally my favorites are anything designed by Pete Dye. What a diabolical mind!
I also take time to look around while playing at a nice track. So much of what was designed into and around the course is discovered through an open mind and open eyes. Lots of 'cool stuff' to be seen other than fairways, greens and hazards.
