Please help me to pick out a grip.

Here's my criteria:

I like a tacky grip because I get some twisting on the downswing sometimes.
I don't like too rough feeling of a grip (like some cords)
I don't like too soft of a grip (like most tour wraps)
I don't like a grip that gets slick too quickly after it wears a little

I tried the Tour Velvets and they are OK...but I still get some twisting now and then
I tried the Golf Pride Corded Wrap and it feels too rough and a little too slick
I tried the Golf Pride Tour Wraps and those are good (nice and tacky) but a little too soft

I was thinking of possibly the GP New Decade Multi Compound or the Lamkin Crosslines or Winn PCI Hybrid
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Winn PCi Hybrid grips - very nice!

Are they "tacky" enough? I felt these at the store and all the Winn grips felt "slicker" than the other brands to me. It's hard to tell until you hit with them, but do you think these will twist on me? Are they as tacky as tour wraps?

The slickness you experienced with the demo grips might be a product of multiple customers handling them, i.e., the accumulated oil on the grips. I've never had any twisting issues with the grips either. But, like you noted, you really have to hit with them to get the full effect.

Lamkin Crossline Sof-Cord. The cord is not rough and isn't hard on the hands compared to some cord grips. The non-cord version of the Crossline sometimes feels a little slippery with sweat. Not too soft, a bit on the firmer side. The crossline pattern provides enough tackiness.
