We're all gonna have our favorites, I bet you'll just get more confused. What kind of woods, irons etc. are you looking for? Forgiveness? Playability? Most of use 'prefer' the clubs in our signature, as do I.

Yeah, if you really have what's in your signature, then you're already set. Spend the money on playing. That will get your handicap down, not purchasing a whole new set. Unless you're well off financially. If that's the case, then get Mizuno forged Irons, Taylormade driver, Titleist balls and fairway woods, Cleveland wedges, Scotty Cameron putter, and if you need hybrids then get Adams. For the bag, go with Ogio. Don't forget Nike apparel and Footjoy shoes.

Think I got it covered. :)

you guys are right.. i should have said i would like a whole new set.. i like what i have now but i do not have a 3 or 5 wood , or a 52 or 60 wedge.. i also think its time for a new driver i think its 4 years old maybe older i just feel with the new drivers i would get more distance and the irons i have now are also good but i really wanna try forged or blades

Assuming money isn't an issue I'd get:
Tm R9,
Titleist 909f2 3-wood and 5-wood
Mizuno Mp-62 3-pw
Titleist vokey 54 and 60

but that's going to cost a serious chunk of change!

In the Bag:

R7 Draw, stiff Exsar FS2
F-50 3-wood, stiff Exsar FS2
F-50 5-wood, stiff Exsar FS2 MP-60 3-PW, reg TT dynamic gold MP Tour Style 54.10 and 60.09,reg TT dynamic gold Bobby Grace DCT Response, w/ golf pride "2 thumb" grip B330S

Driver - if you like cleveland, check out the 2009 Burner or the Adams Speedline (trust me)

FW - Titleist 909F2 (go hit it, best thing ever, with the VooDoo)

Hybrids - take your pick, i'd try the Mizuno Fli Hi long iron replacement

Irons - Mizuno MP 52 or 57/Bridgestone

wedges - Cleveland CG12/Vokeys

Putter - stick with that Cameron or try a Rife

Ball - Anything by srixon or Titleist

Bag - Ping Hoofer (although, im currently trying to sell an old Ogio Grom, so maybe one of those )

I mean, what did you really expect, just look at people's signatures!!!

In my Navy Hoofer:
Driver: Titleist 909D2 9.5* UST ProForce V2 X-stiff
3W: 904F 15* DG X100
Hybrid: X-Hybrid 3i Fujikura Banzai Stiff
Irons: MP-57 X200 3-PW

Wedges: Gauge Design Handmade 54* and 60*

Putter: SSB LKG Custom "Masters Edition"

Ball: Penta, Pro-v1x

Other: Pinseeker 1500 Tournament

I just upgraded my driver from a Nike Sasquatch Sumo to the Cobra S9-1. It's truly night and day. The Cobra is a much better driver. I went to Golfsmith and tried about 10 drivers and liked the Cobra the best. Just give all of the drivers a try and make a decision that fits you.

I'll probably get people jumping down my throat for this but If money isn't a huge concern then you'd be out of your mind to buy anything other than mizuno irons. They give you outstanding control (of distance, trajectory and shape) not to mention the fact that the feeling of a sweetly struck mp on a pro-v1 is just about golfing perfection. Although if your name happens to be sheikh jemehl then Miura forgings are supposed to be on a totally different level.

Here is what I would do:

Driver - TM Tour Burner 9.5*
Fairway - TM Tour 14.5*
Hybrid - TM Rescue 3H
Long Irons - Miura CB301 4-5 Irons
Mid Irons - Miura CB202 6-7 Irons
Short Irons - Miura Blades 8-PW
Wedges - Scratch 52.08, 56.12, 60.04
Putter - SC Studio Select Newport 2
Ball - Bridgestone B330S
Glove - Nike Dry Fit Tour
Shirts - Adidas Climacool
Slacks - Greg Norman
Bag - Ogio Grom
Towel and Brush - Frogger golf
Rangefinder - Leupold GX-I
Tees - 2-1/4 inch and some shorties for FW and Irons off tee
Shoes - Nike
Socks - Any sweat wicking type
Hat - Anything golf related and fitted
Rainsuit - Nike Storm-Fit

Since I am at it

Lessons short game - Pelz 3-days school
Lessons full swing - Any pro that is hard to get a lesson time with that charges over $150 per hour in NY.

Should only be about a cool $5k-6k to get refitted and then a bit more for lessons.

For a full fit set of Muira's it is not too bad maybe $1800 to $2200 if you don't get too exotic. Baiscally a little over twice the cost of a Mizuno set.

after you go buy one of these dream sets, can you just send me your old clubs? I'll be happy to keep them from cluttering your garage, even pay the freight. :)

Yes to mizuno. check Ebay and look at feedback ratings. I got my 57's for $610 brand new in the box about 3 months after they came out. I took the to my local club guy and he verified authenticity and checked all the lofts and lies for me to make sure they were correct. you dont really have to break the bank to get the best irons in the game. Mizuno is the company all the pros that ARE NOT sponsored play. That spoke volumes to me.
