Anyone have one of these? I am wondering if this has 14 way, full length dividers or just a 14 way top divider?

I like the idea of this, just not if the bottom of the bag is the same as a 5 or 6way divider bag. Am so fed up with grip tangle in my ping hoofer.

Any other recommendations for a stand bag with superior club mgmt? I also think the woode system would work well or the divider system in the callaway warbird hot.

Not sure about the Sun Mountain but you might check out the Ogio bags. They have a lot of different options.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?

Nike Sasquatch has 14 full length dividers. I don't really even like Nike stuff but when I went looking for a bag this was the best combinations of features I could find. Very happy with it so far.

Ive had an ogio bag before, and can tell you as soon as the lining wears away (on that woode area which happens quickly if you walk alot) they will screw up your shafts. I had a grom(?) i belive and the lining wore out exposing the hard plastic underneath in less than 2 months. The legs dont deploy well and the bag was always falling over. Ogio bags are ok if you primarily use a cart or a push cart, but i dont recommend them if prefer to carry your clubs around.

Ive been using a callaway warbird bag, and ive had the same issues with the divider system as well. Ive had it less than two months and the lining has already worn out and its knicking and scuffing the shafts on my woods and hyrids. I walk everytime i play, so im resigned to belive that this will happen with any stand bag.

My friend has been using the same titliest stand bag for years though and his still looks in great shape. Perhaps give their bags a look.

I have a nike sasquatch tour (14 way full length divider system) on order. My current bag is a nike super series, I have had it 7 years and it looks as good as new, the only reason I'm changing is for the 14 way divider. Like you I'm tired of the grip tangling.

The nike looks interesting. The only concern for me is that TGW says it is 7lbs vs. the Four 5 at 4.5lbs. If the dividers in the sun mtn are 14 full way individual, that is a more appealing option.

I believe they are full length dividers according to another review. Wish it was in my budget to get that bag. The Sasquatch by Nike is just too heavy.

I used an ogio vector bag with the woode club management system for 2 years, and never had any issues. I play about 60 rounds a year and i walk the majority of them. I believe Titleist bags are made by Sun Mountain, and I'd recommend them as well.

Right there with you!!!! It drives me crazy!!!

My sentiments exactly... But I do have to say that the pockets on this bag are pretty amazing, specially the chill pocket...it's pretty large.

I have researched the OGIO quite a bit, and I have noticed that the 2009 model has added a tougher material at the top. It actually looks a little little plastic, but it's not. It's a cushiony hard rubber, but the openings are large enough to prevent sagging. AS for the legs, they have been addressed in the 2009 model and the bag is much more sturdy now. Also, the leg opening system is well tucked away within the size of the bag, which does not create a problem when putting bag on a cart.
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

I looked at the Four 5 when I was shopping for bags. I didn't have a scale handy but in my hands it felt about the same weight as my Nike Sasquatch. Went with the Nike because the actuator for the stand legs didn't stick out nearly as far from the bag (actually, pretty inline with the edge of the bag on the Nike) whereas the Sun Mountain stuck out a ways which would make it hard to use on a cart which I do occasionally. Otherwise seemed like a great bag though and was in my top 3 when it came down to the end.

Yeah, I have the Sun Mountain SLX 3.5

But I am looking for something I can put on the cart easily and have it look good. I was trying to decide between this one and the SM MPB. I think I like the MPB better, so maybe look into that???

I saw this bag in a store yesterday. The full dividers look nice, however, I have a question for anyone with this bag:

Do your grips rub on the top of the dividers as you are pulling your clubs out of the bag & have you noticed any unusual wear as a result?

The reason I ask is the spacing looks very tight. I took a putter that was in the store & put it in the bag & as I was pulling it out of the bag noticed a little pull when the rubber grip (normal size grip, nothing crazy) was coming out of the top of the bag. Maybe the pulling feeling would be reduced when the bag was loaded with clubs & weighted down some?

Yes, the dividers on the four five are full length. I also compared it with the Sasquatch and surprised myself by choosing the Nike. It might be a TINY bit heavier, but the difference between the two is pretty darn hard to detect if you pick them up back to back. The Nike is an excellent bag and is definitely worth a look if full length dividers are a must have for you.

Is there some kind of advantage to NOT having 14 full length dividers in a bag? They seem pretty hard to find, and it seems like the most sensible option to me. Or is it because it adds weight and/or cost?

    • I kind of like this interpretation especially if you think about it the unplayable rule would probably put you in a better spot.  using back on the line releief.
    • I did not realize that, I was thinking a more traditional golf club.
    • Thanks for the feedback. @StuM, we are a "club without real estate" so no facilities or pro. We have a membership of around 185 players and we only play together as a group at our tournaments, which are held at public access courses. A group of us setup the tournaments, collect the money and dole out the prizes.
    • In general, granting free relief anywhere on the course isn't recommended.  Similarly, when marking GUR, the VSGA and MAPGA generally don't mark areas that are well away from the intended playing lines, no matter how poor the conditions.  If you hit it far enough offline, you don't necessarily deserve free relief.  And you don't have to damage clubs, take unplayable relief, take the stroke, and drop the ball in a better spot.
    • If it's not broken don't fix it. If you want to add grooves to it just because of looks that's your choice of course. Grooves are cut into putter faces to reduce skid, the roll faced putter is designed to do the same thing. I'm no expert but it seems counter productive to add grooves to the roll face. Maybe you can have it sand-blasted or something to clean up the face. Take a look at Tigers putter, its beat to hell but he still uses it.
