I can't figure it out, I keep hitting too high on it (9R). I can't seem to get it on the middle sweet spot. Any suggestions what I should try?

I have tried teeing lower but still it's high.

Do you rest the driver on the ground at address? If you do... don't. Hover it at ball height.

Put some impact tape on the club to see exactly where you are making impact. Everything else is useless until you can verify this. See link below. I have used these. Great product. http://www.edwinwattsgolf.com/golf-e...ate=slisystems

What is the position of the ball in relation to your stance?

It's front back heel of my foot (left). I even moved the ball in line and even in front of my foot (left).

I tried hovering it but feel really uncomfortable doing it. I will keep trying to do this. But I was still doing it.

I had impact tape on it. That's how I knew I was hitting it too high. Every single time, it marked the top of the tape. Not even the entire ball, just the bottom half of the ball on the top half of the tape.

Move the ball back in your stance a bit. Try it in small increments of 1.5" or so at a time. If you have it too far forward, you will be making impact on the upswing. Ideal usually, but this would promote a higher trajectory. I have the FT-i LCG Tour and can't imagine hitting it too high. I have 9.5 deg with the Icon stiff shaft. I would play with ball position. Also, be sure you are not standing too close to the ball. If so, a sweep swing plane could be part of the problem. If you can flatten your swing a bit (more around your body), that alone may help. Some time on the practice range should take care of this. I also read just the other day that the sweet spot on these drivers is high of center a bit, so keep that in mind. But the swing path you are taking may need to change. Just pointing out that the impact being higher on the face may be the preferred position. Just with a more flat swing plane or the ball further back in your stance. Give this a try at the range.

I've got this weird feeling a good fix in your grip and hand and arm position at setup would fix it. Try pointing the butt of the shaft at your zipper at setup. Stand taller, don't stand so aggressive at first, narrower foot width. I have no idea what kind of feeling you're trying to go for either, you may be trying to hit the ball like you do with your irons and sweeping with the driver in effect actually tilting the driver clubface towards the ground. What is your ballflight like? If you tee the ball lower, how the hell are you hitting on the top of the face? Do you often make contact with the ground on your drives? Did you try putting the ball only 1/2" off the ground in the middle of the sweetspot instead of having the ball edge over the top? Lots of questions to figure out your answer. Most important one though, what is your ballflight. Be very descriptive, it gives you a great answer.

That worked for me, too. I was hitting way too many pop-ups a while back.

It was a good day when I figured that out.
