Before today, my previous low score was 81.

I am playing a weekly round with my father and brother. JUust another day playing. On the range, feels the same. Hit a good shot, hit a bad one, etc. We go to the course and i birdie the first hole. Long story short, i played the round of my life. Never in ym three year golf career has my game all coem together at once. One day, my driver is off. the next its my putting. Im sure many casual golfers can relate to this feeling. Anyway, my goal this year was to break 80. I smashed that record by shooting a 1 over par 73 today. Details coming tomorrow on what i shoot in a tournment.

I guess its one of those days.

I shot +5 today (9 Holes).

I played 3 more (1,2,3) after that. Par, Par, Bogey. That 3rd hole, a par 3. Ive never once in all my time playing there seen anyone make the green in one. 237 up hill. Traps front and right trees left. Its damn near impossible i tell you!

Great day.

Well done. Best of luck beating that new personal best.

To me, that is what makes golf great. You can play 200 times and there is always something that you can strive for. Win a skin, break 100, 90, 80, etc, beat your personal best, beat your opponent, make a birdie or two, make an eagle, you could be 8 over on the front, but you can still be par or better on the back. There are so many reasons to make the game fun when you tee off. No matter what your skill level, there is something you can do to make it fun/challenging/exciting.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
