I have a scotty cameron pro platinum bullseye putter with the heavy flange, and want to apply some lead tape to it to make it a little heavier and more solid. Where and how do you recommend I do so (on the sole, the back, the toe, heel, etc.?) Also, how much does one typically need. Thanks

The best place for lead tape on bullseye's is right on the sole. There's not much room anywhere else. You could fill the cavity with an epoxy tungsten mixture if you're feeling adventurous, but getting it out if you're unhappy will be an issue. Lead tape is great because if you hate it, just peel it off!

Get it on there evenly, and smoothly and keep adding until it feels "right."

Don't expect changes in feel (i.e. solid) because of lead tape. It's good stuff for swing weighting purposes, but a magic bullet it is not.

i'd tinker with placement and see what you like. i agree with the comment above that the bottom of a bullseye might be best. i had some luck for a while placing some lead tape directly behind the sweet spot of my putter with an even, rounded piece. remember lead tape has very little quanitative value, its a way of changing the feel of a club, experiment and see what feels best to you. godd luck with it.
