In the market for some new irons.

Like the Pings... like the weight, feel, forgiveness... using impact tape I hit it center a good deal of the time... the larger sole although initially not a fan of... I think it helps.

Before I commit though... anything else I should hit? Similar that is to the Pings (G5, 10's or 15's)?

Titleist AP1s!!! Great feedback without loss of distance, and boy do they send em when you hit it right!

The only thing I hate about them is I don't use them very much. it seems like I'm always either wedging or hitting driver/wood/hybrid.

From what I read in your post, it looks like the Pings are working really well. Lets see you like the "weight, feel, forgiveness" and you are consistantly hitting on the sweet spot. That looks pretty convincing to me; lol, but I'm not you. Good luck with whatever decision you come up with.

i hit the Titleist Ap1 and they were a very good club, especially for someone of your handicap. they hit the ball pretty far with just a small distance loss on mishits. I went with the AP2s because they looked better at adress (thinner topline). The trajectory was the same with the two clubs so I went with those because they're easier to work.
You could also consider some of the Mizuno game improvement irons. The MX200, MX1000 would probably suit you because the second is similar to the Ping G10/15. If you're looking at a forged club which is also forgiving you should consider the MX 200.

Cobra FP's are really really nice.

But if your hitting the G15's good I'd say go for them

Can't really go wrong with Ping. They are very high quality clubs which reflects in their resale value. If your hitting them well go for it. If you feel you need to compare them against something else before purchasing then try the Nike Victory Red full cavity, they feel sweet.

While i was waiting for a couple of my clubs to be regripped at a golf galaxy i hit the new ping i15 irons. They dont feel as harsh as previous models. I hit the i15 driver too and that also felt like a solid club.

stick with ping, you're satisfied with the weight, feel, forgiveness, just stick with them. ping makes great clubs, and i'm not saying it because it's all i use but because it's true. i have titleist and callaway sets sitting at home because i always come back to my pings. but if you wanna try something else, swing nikes victory red's full cavity's, callaway's x22, titleists ap1's, and maybe clevelands launcher irons. although, i still say stick with pings since they already feel good with them and you sound really satisfied.

Thanks everybody for the comments. I have hit some of those irons... (the Callaways... I have no feel at all after the hit. The Cleveland irons... just didn't hit them well) but for some reason never Titleist or Nikes. The Titleist... for some reason I think they are beyond me (I know they are GI irons but still)... I always think Davis Love is staring at me (it's the ball ad in the magazines) which I think is intimidating. The Nikes... for some reason... the Tiger thing intimidates me as well. Off to Roger Dunn then to hit some more irons... I love the Launcher hybrids though... long, high and straight... I can even bend the ball with them!
