Heres my driver swing. I was going for a slight fade and I usually hit draws.
Thanks, Garrett

well, your swing looks good. and i'm not sure this critique would help or hurt you, so disregard it if you like. but i notice in your transition into the downswing, you've got a belly dancing move going on. it could potentially lead to inconsistent ballstriking, imho.

+1 last analysis. The transition seems quick. This can cause some problems with timing of hips shoulders and arms. I would dare say a very slight pause at the top will be beneficial.

If you are happy with the results not much to mess with unless you plan on major completions, state opens, college, pros etc.

Ya, I've always had a quick transition, but the video may be a bit laggy. Anyway, thanks for the tip, I think thts something I can improve on.

Just had a lesson fixed my swing. Perfect plane, and folding and unfolding the right arm. Really excited about my tournament this week.

If I had your swing at your age I might not have to work for a living now. What did your lesson do functionally, or any way to put it into words?

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Well, my coach believes that the swing is just two motions, a pivot(turn, or rotation of shoulders) and a hinge(folding and unfolding of right arm). My first few lessons i worked on my hinge. Now I am working on my pivot, the harder for me. I am really starting to put my swing together, and I am really excited about it. I will be uploading a new swing, in a bit. Try comparing the down the line iron shot and this new vid and see if you can see the changes. For swing thoughts, I feel like I am folding my right arm and can feel like I can hold a pizza box with my right arm at the top. I also feel like my hips are somewhat restricted, this helps my pivot. Lastly, I feel like I unfold my right arm and keep the angle in my right wrist until impact(just like Hogan's key swing thought). Also, thanks for all the comments guys, I really appreciate them.

Plus, if you don't understand or can't see what i am talking about, I will post a vid with what I am working on. Just P.M. me or leave a post here.

Thanks, Garrett

It looks like a textbook modern, power-driven golf swing. Very reminiscent of Sergio Garcia.

I'm just trying to figure out where I've seen that hole before.

Well those keys sound great. But if you don't mind me asking, how do you keep your weight shift? I've been hitting thin shots all day due to half of my weight on my back foot through impact. I need to figure out how to really shift my weight through the ball, inside of swinging up on it.

Other than that, your swing is fantastic. I think I'd like to see a video of you playing an entire hole. Just to see your entire fundamentals, because I'm weird like that. Haha.

Well, I think you should try to get your belt buckle facing the target, this well help you shift your weight. Also, I will get a vid of me playing an entire hole the next time I play.
