Myrtle Beach Golf Getaway.......

So my coworkers and I are going to Myrtle Beach for 5 days and playing 8 courses while we are there. This is happening the 2nd week of May.

So, these are the courses we've got tee times at:

Barefoot - Norman
Caledonia
River Club
Heritage Club
Legends - Mooreland
Man O' War
King's North
Witch

Should be a great time, I've never played any of these courses before. I was told to make sure I bring plenty of balls to Man O' War, because I'm going to lose quite a few........

I've played Heritage and all 3 courses at The Legends and I think you'll enjoy them.

I've played the Witch the Man O War and one of the Kings courses...of those three I liked the Kings course the best...the witch is a neat course that runs through the woods in a swamp like setting on a wooden bridge winding through the woods....I think Man O war is the one I remember having a lot of water. I'm going to Mrytle the 2-7th of May...looking for some good deals to play 3 or 4 rounds with my new sticks

Well, we called and made the reservations today, and they ended up giving us a better package for $50 more per person, so we jumped on it.

So here's the new schedule:

May 8th: 12:00 PM - Waterway Hills
May 9th: 8:00 AM - TPC Myrtle Beach
May 9th: 2:00 PM - Wachesaw
May 10th: 8:00 AM - Longbay
May 11th: 8:00 AM - River Club
May 11th: 2:00 PM - Tradition
May 12th: 8:00 AM - Wild Wing
May 13th: 8:00 AM - King's North

I'm so excited, this is my first real golf vacation!!!!!!!!!

You took Caledonia off the list?? Why, WTF, you guys lost your minds...HUGE mistake. Dump waterway hills, tradition, river club in a heart beat...or sooner.

I've heard great things about Caledonia and was looking forward to playing there. Maybe I'll add an extra round in there on the 12th, and sneak out there if he doesn't want to play it.

smartest thing you have typed yet!!!! You will have a great time reguardless and you will play very nice courses!! don't forget to do the addon round for an extra 18 when you have a morning t time roughly 30 bucks for 2nd 18 and as far as strip clubs...well you won't have to look far but i have always been a little partial to the Masters!!

Sounds like it will be a blast. Make sure you use plenty of sunblock! Take extra gloves, too. When I play down at Myrtle, Ft Lauderdale and Miami I sweat through a glove after about 14-15 holes, even though I take the glove off between shots. So, to remedy that, I carry 3 gloves and switch every nine or so.

I've played all of the courses on both of your lists. I don't think the second package is better than the first one, although it does give you an extra round. Howeever, you are paying $50 more to add a lesser quality course. The packager swtiched you so that you are playing only courses operated by that packager, so the packager makes more money. I have ranked the courses in my order of preference. You have some good courses on both lists, but you'll definitely miss playing Caledonia, Heritage and Moorland. Have fun.

Solid ranking, i am little suprised by how high you have moreland but for the most part well done.
