I was curious if anyone had any opinions/reviews on the Adams Speedline Fast 10 line of drivers and fairways woods? I am in the market for a driver and 3 wood and there's a special at a local store where you get the 3 wood free if you buy the driver. I've always played Adams Hybrids and loved em, but have no experience with their drivers or fairway woods. Thanks in advance...

I have one and love it. It has been accurate and long. I have the 10.5 stiff. I haven tracked my distance but I' usually around 260ish total. 250-270 range. Shot dispertion is tight as well. Most of my miss hits are still playable.

I just played my first round with the Speedline Fast 10 3-wood and I have to say, I have a whole new confidence off the tee. I'm long and erratic with a driver, so I got this club to play off the tee when a driver could get me in trouble. I'm surgical now. I can work it left and right, high and low. I didn't hit a poor shot with it all day. Its even easy to play off the deck. Take this for what its worth, as I have no 3-wood experience to speak of. This club replaced an erratic 15 degree hybrid. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Got paired with a guy at my home course this weekend who had this driver. He asked me to hit it on the second Par 5 to see if I liked it. I first teed off with my driver, and was 246 yds down the right side of the fairway. I then teed off with his driver, and was 262 yds down the middle (both distances measured with a SG5 plus cart GPS). The Adams Speedline Fast 10 Driver felt very nice - he said that he just paid something like $329 for it, so I am still happy with my driver for now.

FYI - it was the Aldila Wasabi 60g Stiff Shaft with 10.5 head

Haven't had experience with those particular models, but I use to play an older Adams driver and the TightLies fairway woods and the quality was always good and they felt great. I've heard very good things about the SpeedLine line of clubs.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I just want to say that I LOVE the Adams Speedline Fast 10 # wood!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the setup with the matrix shaft for myself. I have never hit a 3 quite like these. Went to PGA superstore a week ago and hit around 40 or so balls with their demo and avg 264 on the simulator. Its the 3w thats in my bag right now. No spray and felt like I hit it perfect every single time. Not much exp with the drivers. I know they are known to be long.

I just got the Adams Fast 10 Draw 3 wood with the Wasabi shaft. Only hit it at the range but so far. I normally fade/slice my woods, but every swing I put on this thing goes straight. Looking forward to breaking this out on the course.

I have the SuperFast 10 draw driver (9.5, stiff) and love it. Shaft= wasabi. I recently developed more of a hook than a draw and so I pulled my old Ping V2 Rapture(9.5 stiff) back out and hit that straight. The draw driver is effective but can slide you into a hook if you aren't careful. If I steepen my swing plane a little with the draw driver, I can usually fix the hook quickly.

But as far as the sound, feel, distance and overall performance I could not be happier. I have a slow swing speed with the driver (approx100 mph) and can get the occasional 285+ out of it. Usually I hit it 250-265. If you hit it on the screws, you can't even feel the ball come off the face at impact. It is "buttttah".

I have played this driver for 6 months or so every weekend + some. I still love it. I am a new gear junkie and will definitely make a play for the new model coming out in Feb 2011.

I recently got the 9.5 driver with the Matrix shaft stiff flex and the 3 wood with the Wasabi stiff flex shaft. I was curious to try something new and had read many good reviews about them. Due to the snow my review is after hitting them at a heated outside range a couple times.

Driver: I found the length of the club hard to adjust to. Most drivers I have used are either 44.5" or 45" long. The Speedline is over 46" and the stock shaft is a little loose for me. I have a SS of 108-110  and a quick tempo so this might not be a good fit for me out of the box. I will say that it sounds and feels good on contact but my dispersion was greater than usual. Maybe a reshaft is in order because cutting it down will make it too light as others on the net have maintained. I did not see a great increase in distance over my Cobra X Speed Pro (my gamer from last year).

3 wood: Very solid when hit on the screws but the Wasabi was way too whippy for me. Hooking this thing is easy for me to do. My 3 wood which I was not looking to replace is a TM V steel on a UST Proforce V2 stiff flex shaft. That particular shaft works well for me in driver, woods or hybrids.

Not bad but nothing outstanding enough to replace my current setup.
