When your retired you look for things to keep yourself busy.
I found some metal polish in my garage today so I tried it on one of my irons. It made such a difference I polished all of them. It made the crome finish really shine. My son thinks I'm loosing it!

I guess some folks think cruddy chrome is good looking. Great idea to polish chrome that you want to last.

It ain't bragging if you can do it.

I polish my irons from time to time. They are stainless but a good polishing with Mothers metal polish makes them look nearly new. Great way to keep your irons nice looking. Helps keep the value up also. I also wax the painted surface on my driver and hybrids. I'm not anal about it but I do keep them looking nice.

A special blend of salt water and battery acid should put a nice shine on those babies.

That's just, uh, immature. Way to be a dick to someone new to the forum. Does your e-peen feel bigger now?

Those stainless clubs won't really shine with polishing like the OP's forged mild carbon steel irons. Stainless has more of a satin finish, so look for a stainless specific polish.
