I was just wondering if on your tee shot off a par 3 if you always, sometimes, or never use a tee.

Depending on the length of the grass I will hit it off the ground with my shorter irons (7 iron or less.)

Always use a tee on par 3's but I put it in as low as possible for iron shots (so it is like playing off the floor) and about a fingers height for hybrid/3 wood if it is a long par 3.

Weird - it's like there was one of those groupthink occurrences where everybody asks the same question at the same time. I think this is the third question about this in the past month.

Most people state that they use a tee. There are a couple that don't. Do whatever makes you comfortable.

Sometimes depends on the shot if I'm hitting it low or high or whatever I am trying. In general I don't tee wedges or 9-iron. More comfortable I guess.

Tees reduce my mishits and keep the ball straight and closer to predicted distance. So, yeah, tees for me.

Please use the search button from now on.
It was covered yesterday or the day before, and it was covered before that a week or two ago.

You should use a tee on a par 3 but only barely tee it up, have the head of it just resting on the teebox. No need to have it teed up an inch or two like you see some people do it.
