Hi guys

from all that ive read about this weeks tournament, the FBR, it is one of the PGA tour's showpieces, with sand everywhere-the crowds are pretty mental too (what part booze plays in this i don't know)

there's an interesting field this week with no Tiger but all of the other stars, minus Els-so i'll be interested to see how Phil gets on this week with no TW.

what will Duval do this week?..he must aim to make the cut first and try to contend from there

The FBR is only a circus on Saturday and only at the 16th and around the clubhouse. Everywhere else it is very much like any other PGA Tour stop.

Remember, Tiger hasn't played this event in several years so his absence is nothing new and should have no bearing what so ever on the outcome of this tournament. Phil does love to play this event and I look to see him do well.

Phil seems to be struggling a bit - hopefully the home town and familiarity with the course will play in his favor.

the sixteenth hole is a circus, just like any other tournament everywhere else on the course. was tiger's ace on this hole the start all the madness there or was already happening?

Hi

i think that some of the spectators at us tour events are insane, which is amusing. I know its the US Open when i hear 'get in the hole..' and 'its birdie time..', and the ball is nowhere near the hole!!...awesome

I loved watching this tourney..
The wife and I decided we are heading down next year... I doubt we will be on the 16th - but that tournament is too close to home to miss.
