Due to a lot of commitments in my life right now I play a round of golf probably every 3-4 weeks. However, I nearly always practice early every Sunday mornings for 2 hours at the range, to keep my swing and short game in check. I do hope to play more rounds this year though.

How about you guys?

I go to the range every day on my lunch break. I hit balls or practice putting and chipping. I try to get out at least once on the weekend to either play or practice. I probably play a full round 2-3 times a month.

I really would like to play 8-10 times a month, but as it stands right now I would need much more disposable income and much more time. I only play MAYBE twice a month but I am able to go to the range a few times a week.Would any like to donate any of there free time and/or money to my golf cause?

September-April I play about 1-2 times a week and hit balls 3-4 times. May-August I play 3-4 times a week and hit balls every day. During the summer I am at the course at least 6 times a week. I am a golf nut, my family has to deal with that. I do try to practice and play in the early morning so I can be home by 11 or 12 and spend the rest of the day with them.

I play every weekend. Some weekends I play for the CLub in Pennant mtaches so manage to get 2 rounds in that week :)

Living in Auckland we get a very mid winter (never below about 5* - and normally around 8-12) and never any snow. Where I play (click link in sig) is sand based so never floods - am very lucky in that respect. We have great practise facilities, so some Saturday mornings I'll spend 4 hours or so practising. During the summer I'll get out there one evening a week and practise as well. During the winter I'll go to the range once a week.

Play 4-6 times a month on average but during summer when it is hot, cheaper, and the day light is longer in Vegas I can play 9 and sometimes 18 after work so I average 6-10 times a month then.

I try to practice at least 1-2 times a week. Hard to force myself to practice and not play when I have the time. But I know then only way to get better is to practice and not play all the time.

Hi everyone!

I'm now 36 and a mom of 3 and returning to the game after an absence. Previously, I was training to turn pro. I've played since age 3 and on teams thru school, and then quit college to train fulltime with former PGA player David Lee (Gravity Golf).

During that time, I had to hit 1,000 balls every morning and then hit the course for 1-2 rounds a day, followed by a workout at the gym. Whew! Best shape of my life during that time.

When I was about 3 months from the minitour, I found out I was pregnant with my son, so I went BACK to college for my journalism degree instead of following golf, and I miss it.

So far, I have been out to the driving range a few times, amazed at how tiring it is. Need to get back in shape. I have a toddler so I haven't been back out to the course, but I'm itching to. I use men's clubs and play from the championship tee with the boys :)

I joined this forum to socialize with golfers again - they're always great and unlike any other people on earth.
Tiff :)

I hit balls a maximum of two times per week. I usually only go one day (Wednesday or Thursday) and hit something between a medium and large.

I play at least an executive course every week. I try to play 18 every Friday with a group of friends from school.

Hey there guys...

Well, due to the fact that I live in Wisconsin, and it is nothing but snow for 4 months here, I only get to play8 of them. But that is quite alright you see, because I work at the local golf course and I get to play for free whenever I want. Its so awsome. Now that I have gotten more serious about golf and I can practice whenever I want. I have worked out there for 2 summers, and this will be my 3rd and I am very excited.

Getting back on topic...During the Spring Summer and Fall I usually play about 5 times a week. Sometimes 6. And that is just 18 hole rounds. I try to play atleast 9 holes a day or atleast go to the range everyday that it is nice out. I basically live at the golf course ha ha.

    • Ok, it's been a while, but I finally got the 18th hole! It was the only one left over from last year and it took 14 months, but I got it today. It is a slight dogleg right, plays 425 up to an elevated green into the prevailing wind. Playing slightly up, I hit driver and had about 160 into the green. Hit 6 iron to 4 feet and with a straight uphill putt made it center cut! Now I can stop thinking about that hole!  All I have left this year is 5, 15, and 17.  Let's Go!
    • He’s just tired of fighting. And being asked. And just tired.
    • Yeah, that's what most of the guys there were saying. I'm guessing they weren't able to cut them due to all the rain. Or maybe they are growing really fast and since we tee'd off at 6PM... 😜
    • Frankly, one could be forgiven for thinking there was some truth to the rumor as seemed like he was laying the groundwork for a while with his softened stance on LIV.
    • Well, Rory nipped those rumors in the bud: Rory McIlroy: 'I'll play the PGA Tour for the rest of my career' - world number two dismisses LIV Golf link Rory McIlroy says he will play on the PGA Tour "for the rest of my career" as he quashes rumours of him making a big-money move to LIV Golf. I suppose you never know, but it's a stark contrast from how, for example, Cam Smith handled the rumors. Feeling much better about this today.
