I haven't tested the jpx yet, but i hear really good things about them, i'm very indecisive, bc i play blades at the moment and don't want to lose the feel but i definitely would love some more forgiveness! everyone seems to love the burners but i doubt its possible to work them heightwise, especially bc i often play in windy conditions! the ci9s get a lot of good reviews online, but the pros at my golf club seem to differ. finally the jpx 800 pro get raving reviews online, the price is just pretty steep and my thoughts are if your going easier then it would be smarter to go a lot easier!!!

thanks for your thoughts

There are plenty of reviews here on the JPX 800 Pros and the Burner 2.0.

I use the JPX's and I love them. Clean look, amazing feel from anywhere, and if you are one that hits that sweet spot consistently then you will love what you feel at impact.

I can't deny the great reviews that the Burner's have gotten though. There has to be some magic in them for such a large amount of people that swear by them.

Swing some demos during a round and then when you settle on a set of irons come back here and ask about places to get good prices on them. Got mine off of eBay for $550 instead of the $799 they were selling for.

Burner 2.0's have stronger lofts on their irons than the JPX's. This may or may not mess with your current configuration. Here is the breakdown between these two clubs:

Loft Comparison:

3i 4i 5i 6i 7i 8i 9i PW AW/GW SW LW
Burner 2.0 19 21 24 27 31 35 40 45 50 55 60
JPX 800 Pro 20 23 26 29 33 37 41 45 50 N/A N/A

Hope this helps. Good luck with the search.

The JPX-800 Pros are the best of the bunch, no question.  The Burners are game-improvement shovels and the Ci9s are nice but theyre no 800 Pros.

and what do you think of the mp53 or mx 300s? i hit the sweet spot often enough to play players clubs i just don't want the punishment i get from my blades anymore!! hit the burners today and hit one so far off the toe and it still went 170 yards, ridiculous!! plus they are just to chunky looking!!
