Just booked my tickets to visit some relatives in the Visalia/Fresno California area and was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for courses over there. I am not into paying $$$$ like Pebble or Spyglass, but some local good courses.

Thanks in advance.

When is your trip or have you visited already?

As jmorse mentioned, down in Visalia Valley Oaks is pretty good for cheap. And Ridge Creek in Dinuba is a nice course, although I find it a bit pricey for what it is (maybe $10 too much, not a big deal). Come up to the Fresno area and play Eagle Springs (formerly Brighton Crest). Very fun and challenging course in the foothills. Probably the best of the public offerings around here. Riverside is also a good one for ~$35.

We are leaving in a week. Looking forward to some warm weather (warm for us Michiganders). We are planning on playing Valley Oaks (just because it is close), and Ridge Creek. I will have to take a look at Eagle Springs and Riverside.

Thanks for the suggestions.
