I lived in Wisconsin for 32 years and am a diehard Packer fan.  How about that Jeff Saturday signing?  IMO, he should be a welcome addition and fill a big hole the Packers have had in their line for a few years now.

Driver looks good on DWTS too.  Not sure if he will win but he looks good thus far.

Yo Tim----I remember Ray Scott and the Hamms beer commercials. Even was a Packer fan through the Dan Devine years.

Major questions in Packer-Land

Will life time Packer Donald Driver stick around for another year or so?

My opinion---He will take a cut in contract terms, James Jones traded to make room for Borel or Gurley.

Will Collins come back from cervical spinal fusion?

Hope he makes a wise decision.

First round draft choice?

I'm hoping for a stud DE. Hopefully from the Big Ten. CornHusker, Illini, Nitty Lion player.

Last year for OLT Chad Clifton?

IMO yes one more then his back and knees say its time to enjoy life. That may happen during the 2012 season. Hope Sherrod is the real deal.

Running Back Ryan Grant's status?

He has stiff competition from the sophomores Saine and Greene this training camp.

Russell Wilson--UW quarterback draft status?

A real class act someone is going to get cheap. Hope it's the Pack in 7th or as UDFA.

Player to make a noise his sophomore year?

Wide receiver  Randall Cobb--special teams and in backfield. This guy needs the ball.

Will the Pack go 15-1 this year again?

That task will be daunting. The Lions and (gulp) da Bears have upgraded. Northern Central will have three fine teams.

Was Oregon the better team?

They won didn't they? But it was one hellava game!!!

And finally will I forgive Favre?

Deanne -she always has been an angel.   Brett-----I'm still thinking about that.

I like the Saturday signing. We needed a replacement after the Spitz experiment and the departure of Wells. I hear that he is a great locker room guy which is perfect for the Packers. He is getting out so lets hope he can stay healthy and he can groom a center within the next couple years. I love Driver as well, I don't watch DWTS but I should now that he is there.

Well I am only 22 years old and my first real memory was in 96 when Favre and our Packers beat the Patriots. Ever since then I have taken some harsh criticism for being a Packer fan in Bears land.

Donald Driver will finish his career in Green Bay, in my opinion. He is not called Mr. Packer for no reason and I can definitely see him taking a cut to make that happen.

With Collins, I follow him on twitter and he constantly is posting how healthy he is and how he is ready to make a return, take that for whatever it is, though.

First round draft choice definitely has to be a pass rusher. I was hoping Ted Thompson would go out of his comfort zone and make a play for a guy like Mario Williams this offseason. He would of been a perfect fit in our 3-4 scheme. However he sat back and will groom talent through the draft, like he always does. Maybe like a guy like Whitney Mercilus out of U of I if he falls that far.

Definitely almost over for Clifton. Although Sherrod didn't perform like we would have hoped, you can't underestimate experience that in early in his career.

Would love to see Alex Green touch the ball, from what I have seen he is a very explosive player

Loved Russell Wilson and his transfer to Madison last year. Very poised but I'm not sure if his skill set will allow him to be a starter in the league.

Agree with you on Cobb

Packers can go 16-0 but I doubt it. Hopefully the draft replaces some holes.

I love Favre

Pats fan here, but like the Packers too.  Saturday is smart player and will help, but they need more depth.  He is getting up there in years and it would help if they worked in some more depth.

I hope the coaching losses don't change their approach.  They were very fun to watch last year.

They were fun on offense, the defense was painful to watch though.  Things wont change.  McCarthey isnt going to change his playcalling and the fact that the NFL is a passing league will force the Packers to throw.

I just hope they can get some better D.  They arent going to win another Superbowl if the defense cant make a stop, especially in close games.

HUGE Cheesehead fan here, letting Jenkins walk last year turned out to be a mistake; Neal never came through, and with no inside pass rush and our backend minus Collins was torched!!  I like the Hargrove signing and would love to add the best safety in the draft, Barron from Alabama ( Collins will retire IMO ).  If not a safety in the draft, another OLB to play opposite of Matthews is a must, maybe either one of the backers from Alabama would do.

Can't wait for the season to start, going to two games next year; away at Indy and my first trip to Lambeau!!

Lambeau field is awesome...Congrats on the score of tickets!!!!!

Have you made a game at Camp Randall. Another great venue. The students put on as good of a show as the football team.

Haven't got em' yet, just waiting for the schedule to come out then I'll pounce; probably go to a September or October game, the weather shouldn't be an issue.

Never been to Randall, not much of a College guy, but I'd bet it would be a cool experience.

As a Giants fan, I love Lambeau at playoff time.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

    • Hey team. This is a very difficult hole at the course I started golfing on and where I often go back. I always struggle - it’s narrow (35y) with trees on both sides. If you go lateral, you’re out of bounds. The green also feels small.    I play the white tees usually, so 30 or so yards up from here. If I hit my driver, it usually goes lateral and lost or if it curves it hits a tree and I lose a ton of distance.   I carry my 7i probably about 140-145, with 5-7 yards of roll out. Driver is 265 with roll out on a good strike with a premium ball, but probably closer to 220 carry on average. My hybrid goes about 180-200 including roll out but has been fading quite a bit recently not too much wind on this hole and the ground is hard, but I’m not sure I’ve practiced a long punch. If that’s what I need to work on, happy to put in the time.  Appreciate any advice anyone has, approach to holes like this, or other things to consider.
