Hitting my driver way low...thoughts?

I've been trying to figure this out for a few years.  I bought my driver in '09 (Nike SQ SUMO 5000, 13* loft) and got immediate results.  I was hitting it dead straight and as far as I'd ever hit a golf ball.  Then the next year, something happened and ever since I've been unable to hit the club right.  I've literally only hit 2 or 3 good drives since then.  I have a bad slice and almost all of my drives barely make it off the ground, obviously limiting my distance.  With the loft being so high, I have no idea how or why that happens.  Any suggestions?

If you are hitting a low slice, it tends to be the fact that your swing path is a long way left - perhaps you are coming over the top. This produces a steeper angle of attack on the ball and less dynamic loft at impact. Plus, if your path is 10 degrees left, you are going to have to have the clubface closed a lot at impact to hit your target. If it was square with this path, the ball might fly a little higher, but would slice way right. So a combination of a left swing path with a closed face will produce a very low ball flight, or a low banana slice in general.

Things you could do - increase your attack angle (more positive -i.e. hitting more up on the ball) by getting your swing path more optimum, and also making sure you are set up with your head behind the ball and a spine tilt away from the target by about 7-10 degrees or so. this may set a little more weight on your right foot at address. Tee the ball up higher, and if you are coming into the ball shallower then you won't sky it - skied shots are a combo of high tee and steep angle of attack.

you would have to see a golf pro to look for the best way to change your path, without seeing body motion etc it is hard do suggest something. But even with a left swing path - if your club is coming in with a positive attack angle (slightly upwards) you can get the ball going higher - it could potentially lessen the slice also. Its kinda like what JB Holes plays

Tough to know what you're doing without video.

If you are hitting low hooks, try weakening your grip.

That will probably make matters worse.... he is hitting low slices not hooks. Weakening the grip would just open the face more and send it flying more right

With the camera angle the way it's set, I can't even tell if your leaning over or bending your knees. :)

From what I can see though, you don't have a lot of tilt; your shoulders are level and your spine is looks completely straight which is why (at least to my eye), both of your arms are super straight at address.

I'll let those with better eyes take a whack at it though. A down the line shot would be really useful as well.
