Spent time researching an item, purchased an item, impatiently waited for it to arrived, giddily opened the package, gawked at the shining newness, pretended to swing in your living room, went to the driving range, swallowed the new item anxiety, and then swung....to only be reminded that just even though you have a new driver, you still suck? Badly?

Oh well. I still have a shiny, new driver.

I hate when the first swing with a new club really sucks. Oh well. It gives me a feel for what it'll feel like on the majority of my shots. :-D

This is exactly why I buy clubs that aren't minty new for not alot of money.    I'm always experimenting, trying to find out what works & what doesn't work.    I'm gradually narrowing it down, but I just practically gave away a Ping K15 driver that I paid $329 for ... never again will I buy high dollar new equipment.

Well, cost is relative to the person, but I don't think paying $99 for that driver was too much being as it is..er...was new at the time lol.
