You simply say "Sorry, the club has shipped." and refer him to his legal obligations as a purchaser.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Depends on in your description or shipping.. it says "no refunds" or not.

If you shipped it, had tracking information, etc.. then once that package gets to it's destination.. that money is yours.

Sticky situation.. which is why eBay can be frustrating sometimes.

Keep us updated, I'd like to see how it turns out.

Doesn't the buyer still have to pay for the return shipping to you, as you went out of your way to ship the item to them before they decided to back out? If they refuse to pay, then you can always take it up with Paypal/eBay to at least get your money or the club back. I do agree however, it's quite an @$$hole move on their part.

That's why I stopped selling on ebay after doing it for 10 years. I shipped a guy a very expensive specialty tool, he used it for what he needed and then filed a complaint about a scratch (it was a used tool, duh) and sent it back. It was a scam to get "rent" a 450 dollar tool. I still buy golf gear on there occasionally but I'll never sell a thing on there again.

If you did, "returns not accepted" then unless your description of the item is inaccurate, the buyer has no choice but to accept the item.
