Well I'm a tall golfer (6'7) and was wondering what all the other taller golfers use.

I'm 6'5" and use a standard Ping Anser 35" putter.

It totally depends on how you setup to the ball (bent-over or upright), and the length of your arms...

I've putted pretty well with putters ranging from 33" to 39" long.

I'm 6'5", but have 6'9" arms.

I'm 6'6".  Have always used a 35" putter, but recently had a Ping belly putter cut down to 39" and I use it as a "normal" putter (not anchoring it).  I'm much more comfortable with it and my putting has gotten significantly better.  I also had a SuperStroke 3.0 grip put on it to accommodate my big hands.  I always felt cramped and hunched with the 35" putter and would get serious back pain during long practice sessions - the 39" putter allows me to assume a much more comfortable stance.

If there's a golf store near you, try and find a Cleveland "Almost Belly" at 39 inches and just see where it feels natural for you to put your hands on the grip. If you're well down the shaft, then a standard 35 inch putter is probably fine. If not, maybe you need an extension. Or an "Almost Belly." a1_smile.gif
