Just thought I'd get some feedback on whether I need to upgrade my wedges. I've been passed down a set and I've got:

- Callaway X-12 PW
- Callaway X-12 SW
- Ram Tom Watson 55* SW

Do I need to upgrade my wedges, if so, which ones should I replace and to what lofts?

For approach shots longer than 100 yards, and sand bunker shots with a good lie, I use my PW.

For chip shots, deep sand bunker shots and approach shots shorter than 100 yards I use my 55* SW (it's pretty much my "go to" club that saves my hide when I'm in a tough spot).

I find I hardly use my X-12 SW.

Any thoughts?

What you need to do is find out the lofts of all 3 wedges, then not to have a loft gap of more than 4-5*. There should be no reason to carry 2 SW. Replace one with a gap wedge around 50-52*.

If I had the money to spend, I would keep the PW, then get 50-52*, 54-56*, 58-60* wedges
