Hit the new Callaway XR demo which are being release this February 2015 (Golfsmith had a Demo 7 iron), very nice club. I would give them a try. The have the same design as the Callaway Big Bertha iron, Cup Face technology. Give them try when they come out, I'm thinking of replacing my old Ping G15s and these may be the club?? We'll see

Yes the look at address is similar to X-14 design that was so popular.

Strong lofts and a bit longer than standard too. However, I love the look of them.

I hit the XR driver and irons at Golfsmith (I was wooed by their siren song of free Chrome Soft balls). The driver wasn't anything special but hitting the iron again, it's so friggen easy to get out there. Hitting this 7 170 easy. It's nuts. I have to slam my current 7 to get 160.
