Srixon drivers

I just kicked some tires on a few new drivers and for some reason there is a big push to try or buy Srixon drivers.

I bite and try one out. Nothing special and a bit of a muted feeling when hit well (smash factor of 1.49). I was also trying out the Titleist 915D3 which I liked but wasn't really out performing my 910D3 however did out perform the Srixon with a similar smash factor and swing/speed but the loft angle was different.

Anyone club retailers know while the push to sell Srixon? The golf channel purchase the company?

If they're "pushing" them it means they aren't really selling. If they were flying off the shelves there wouldn't be the need to "push". Stores are likely overstocked and need to move them before the price drops.

I've still yet to see a Srixon club in person. They don't stock them at nearby Golfsmiths or Dicks', and I didn't notice any at PGA SS

I have seen some Srixon irons at one of the independent golf shops by me but I've never seen them in somebody's bag.

The driver felt a lot like the Cleveland's I have tested. Golf shop guys maintained that the people who have tried the Srixon drivers have loved them and they have been selling a ton. I think they are just trying to get the sales off the ground by getting anyone who tries out a driver to also hit the Srixon.

      I honestly believe if they play longer tees by 300-400 yards, closer to or over 7,000 yards, more rough, tougher greens, women's golf will become much more gripping.  BTW, if it weren't for Scottie killing it right now, men's golf isn't exactly compelling.

      Yeah, that. It stands out… because it's so rare. And interest in Caitlin Clark will likely result in a very small bump to the WNBA or something… and then it will go back down to very low viewership numbers. Like it's always had. A small portion, yep. It doesn't help that she lost, either. Girls often don't even want to watch women playing sports. My daughter golfs… I watch more LPGA Tour golf than she does, and it's not even close. I watch more LPGA Tour golf than PGA Tour golf, even. She watches very little of either. It's just the way it is. Yes, it's a bit of a vicious cycle, but… how do you break it? If you invest a ton of money into broadcasting an LPGA Tour event, the same coverage you'd spend on a men's event… you'll lose a ton of money. It'd take decades to build up the interest. Even with interest in the PGA Tour declining.
