Has anyone ordered golf balls from either of these 2 companies:
-Knetgolf
-Golf Ball Planet

They both sell used golf balls on ebay and on their own websites but I have always been nervous about purchasing used balls. They both have good feedback but has anyone here purchased from them? What is the ball quality like? Is a MINT ball actually MINT or is it sometimes in just ok shape?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

I have never bought used balls from sites like these either. I think that AAAA quality is the best condition they come in though. I could be wrong. As far as ebay, I would just check out and trust their feedback and see what people have said about their purchases from those places in the past. I would like to know if anyone has gone this route for buying pro v1's. Seems like a good way to get a bunch of pro v1's without having to pay full retail if the balls are good quality.

Dave

I've purchased from Golf Ball Planet. The balls were in really good shape. You should also check out lostgolfballsretail on ebay. They are a little better than GFP. I've purchased Nike, Titleist and Hogan balls. They were in great shape.

Those prices seem quite high, considering that I have a local Used Golf Ball Warehouse in which I can purchase a dozen Titleist Pro V1's for $14 in MINT condition. Here's the location information of the store. http://www.golflink.com/golf-stores/...asp?store=1530

I use Knet religiously. Usually bulk up a the beginning of the Season, I make an order worth $100.00 to get "free shipping" (is anything ever free?)

Used them 3 times now, and my buddy the same. We buy mint, and 99.9% seem to be logo overruns. And I have to say never have been hit. If they have been hit, which I don't entirely rule out - I can't tell.

The grade A balls, sometimes have a washed, ball marker spot on them, which tuned me off. The price difference between mint and grade A isn't that much (good marketing). The shipping within Canada is really quick, order on a Monday and they are here by the end of the week

^ Agree. I started using them when they used to offer free greens fees with purchase. Now, I they throw in a free hat. I still order from them because I have yet to get a ball that was not as described. They describe mint as used for 1-3 holes. If they are, you can never really tell the difference, or they are unused logo overruns as described above.

I just saw this post and thought I would add my 2 cents about knetgolf.com.

I have bought many orders of golf balls from them and find their pricing and product to be perfect for my needs. Free shipping over $100 and fast delivery are just added bonuses.

I would recommend them to anyone, just choose the grade of golf ball carefully. I have bought Mint, Grade A and Grade B - all which pass for me. Mint has been perfect, Grade A is near perfect, both do contain logos, but I enjoy them anyways.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents.

How about Grade B? I like LostGolfBalls' prices, but their shipping cost is a little high.

How about Grade B? I like LostGolfBalls' prices, but their shipping cost is a little high.

Grade B commonly has scuff marks (not major ones) and the logos may be slightly worn.

Here is knet's description of Grade B:
Knetgolf.com's Value Grade B recycled golf balls are the best value buy for the most sought after balls in golf today. The Grade B recycled value pack balls are 100% playable and are a great buy for the occasional or newer golfer. These recycled value pack balls may be cosmetically challenged in that they have moderate surface blemishes and minor to moderate ink marks however none of the surface marks or slight blemishes should affect the trajectory, distance or flight Path of the ball. A cut ball is considered unplayable. If Knetgolf deems that the scuff or scratch is too large or if it tears into the cover of the ball, it will not qualify for any of our grades.

I believe that this is very representative of what the Grade B is - I have some here in my hands and they compare very well with that statement.

If these prices are too high, knetgolf commonly has promotions on certain brands of balls. Currently there is 15% off all ProV1 styles, 30% off Maxfli and 20% off Distance Balls. These types of sales usually allow anyone to find a ball that fits them for the right price. Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, let me know.

Just got a dozen AAAAA Pro V1 from lostgolfballs.com, my first purchase from them! They arrived in the mail today, and they look MINT! One has a logo, one has a tiny smudge that is no bigger than the tip of a pen. Can't wait to take them out to play ... not bad for about 1/2 price!

all the stores here sell "lost" golf balls.all the golf shops and stores like Walmart $21 for 12 Pro V1's for example.all the brands of balls you want. the balls are repackaged in clear plastic 4x3 "egg carton" containers, so you can inspect the balls too.
