I dont know if anyone brought this up but Audi some years back had a breathalyzer key as an option. I think if it works reliably I have no problem with it, seatbelts and helmet laws were debated as infringement but the bottom line is driving is a privilege not a right so if something can be done to make the roads safer then I'm all for it.

I have an Audi and my breathalyzer key is me.  If I've had more than 2 drinks in under 2 hours I don't drive.  Most of my favorite watering holes are just down the hill, so if I need to I can just walk home.
