Best Draw Biased Driver

Hi everyone,

I've always struggled with a right miss on my driver. I've had several lessons and still struggle with this.

I've decided to invest in a draw driver and had the g400 sft (£279) and Rogue draw (£279) in mind. I've also just noticed that the Cobra f9 has been lowered to £249 so that has also caught my eye, as it has hosel settings for a draw bias.

I would massively appreciate any guidance on which might be the best choice from anyone with experience of any of these drivers (or anyone with a right miss off the tee!!)

Hi Tom. I can relate to your question as I also have for many many years fought the same right miss/tendency just like you. I can share what I’ve done the last few years to help with this. First and foremost, never quit trying to improve your swing and improve your club face & club path relationship. I’m 67 yrs old and will always fight over the top tendencies with my swing but improvement is possible. But, back to your question. Personally, I’ve seen improvement and gotten good results Using the Rogue Draw Bias driver. Secondly, I suggest to get the lower degree lofted driver and then ADD loft in your adjustment. This will close the face even more. Example.....if you normally play a 10.5 deg lofted driver, what you would want to do is buy a 9 deg driver and then add 1 or 2 deg of loft. Good luck and get that swing coming a little more from the inside. Hope this helps

Ping g400 sft. You will see nothing but the left side of the course. It is insane how this clubs prevents a slice.

Hello and welcome to TST. I’m a bit interested in your instruction details. Don’t want to be a Debbie Downer but you’re probably not gonna buy the solution. It’s a swing flaw. Perhaps a ‘draw bias’ driver could offer some correction..but I think it may be minimal. However...it really depends on why you’re hitting it to the right. 
I strongly suggest you post a video of your swing in the ‘members swing’ thread. Instruction can vary so much it’s hard to know if you’ve been given proper advice for your issue. There are some top notch instructors here who would give you great advice. Cheers.

Work on your swing. Turn the right tendancy into a draw. Close stance a tad bit and close the club face at address. Practice inside out swing and you can start to draw the ball.
