Hi, I have been browsing sand trap for a while, and finally set up an account. I have a question about the backswing: do I cock my wrists and bend my right elbow on purpose simaltaneously, or do I just cock my wrists without purposely bending my right elbow?

Welcome to The Sand Trap! Thanks for joining. The best answer is in the first few videos in the thread below. @iacas created these during the early Covid-19 shutdown. The first five videos will answer your questions. Also, feel free to make videos of yourself practicing these and post them in the thread. I think that folks will be starting again as winter approaches.

We also have a Member Swings section where you can post videos of your swing for help.

Everyone feels will vary. But both your trail elbow and your wrist will change throughout the swing.
