New Golfer From S.E. Michigan

Hi All,

I'm a new golfer, just learning how to swing a club well (I hope!) and play the game.  Started swinging a club for the first time in my 69 years in June of 2020.  Played seven times last year--the first time in September.

Don't yet know how energetically I'll pursue the game, but, so far, I'd say nothing new I've tried has piqued my interest quite this much in some time.  I find the combination of the enjoyment of being out on the course with friends, the challenge of the game, the biomechanics of the golf swing, and the technology that goes into modern golf hardware utterly fascinating.

Welcome.  Nothing like being out on the course with friends. I enjoy going out alone sometimes to work on my game, but if that's all there was I wouldn't be happy. We have a group from SE mich, specifically Rochester Hills area. Some are not very good but others are.
