I plan on using a vice on a cheap club to change its lie, but im not sure what type of angle finder I should use with it, theres a few different variations like you can see here 7194JpHOIdL._AC_SL1500_.jpg714L+95HqeL._AC_SL1500_.jpg61WUn2oevQL._AC_SL1000_.jpghttps://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Ol0AAOSwoRpcUnPH/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/RRwAAOSwmuBfVPKM/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/UZ4AAOSwSKtaWOg6/s-l1600.jpg s-l1600.jpghttps://www.stakesys.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/a/f/af2_1.jpg

Take it to a shop or invest in a loft/lie machine.

If you are doing this with a vise by hand I think the best you can hope for is to get within 1 degree accuracy. That being the case, I would recommend this as you probably already have one.

Thanks. I will try this. Did I see a hinge on the end of your ruler to set the sole properly before you measure length? I’ve been trying various ways to make sure the club sitting correctly when measuring length.

Yep. Just a strap hinge from the hardware store epoxied to the end. Slightly cheaper than a specialized club ruler.
