For some reason a comment about how soft the greens were at Augusta in November popped into my head and while I don't have a strong opinion on the idea I thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss. Obviously the majors were not "normal" but everyone played under those conditions so seems like a lot of room for personal philosophy on the practice.

Personally, I do not asterisk them. 

Obviously, things were different. But I give the powers that be all the credit in the world for just getting them in. 

The obvious exception is The British Open.

Being that every player has the same conditions I don’t think an asterisk is necessary or even valid really. It does however make sense to indicate the tournament didn’t happen at the normal time and that the crowds were non-existent or minimal.

      Yeah - I'll keep an eye on that - I've been across the line for about forever, so I assume that I want to overexaggerate the laid off bit to get it closer to square when I take a real swipe at the ball.

      First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.
