I am a Police Officer in Eastern Iowa. Been working the streets for approx. 4 years. I love my job and the differences that I make in my community.

Sadly it's not good golfing weather outside, but it hasn't stopped me from getting excited about the upcoming season. Looking forward to posting many replies and engaging in many conversations on the sand trap.

I work in the fitness business. Trying to decide if I should go back to school for physio, chiro, teacher or a program where there are plenty of females to males in the classroom. I was advised by others not to pursue golf management courses despite my passion for golf. Time will tell.

I works as an Activities Attendant on a small island out at sea from Australia. (Great Barrier Reef). I do everything which includes, teaching tennis, squash, I take guests on guided tours of the island being the wildlife, I take them fishing, scuba diving on kayaking and jet ski tours, I play in the island band each Friday/Saturday night on the Saxophone (Kenny G is my legend without the nose) and I enjoy playing golf as well as the island has a 18 hole course as well. I am busy but golf is number one for me.
It is a good life I can tell you.

I'm a teacher in a school in Zurich. The weather right now here in Switzerland isn't that great for golf, but it's fun hitting into the snow at the local driving range. Starting to get excited about the new season. Was recently in Marbella, Spain and managed to play some accurate golf and sample Spanish hospitality. Shot my handicap and a bit better more than once.

I work my way into posting privileges at golf bulletin boards...

Seismic data processor on the side.

I'm an Estimator/Project Manager for a local General Contractor. Been playing for about 3-4 yrs. Completely addicted to the game. I would play all year if it weren't for all that $@#%* white stuff on the ground, with more on its way.

I'm a software/web consultant.

I am a database administrator for a big-name government contractor software/IT services company. I am currently stationed at Camp Anaconda in Iraq to set up some new database servers for the Army. My tour is almost over, and I get to come home in 2 weeks!

I am also a forum admin for a site I started up last year and, I too, sometimes look through the log files and dabble around in cpanel for hours

    • Day 316 - More swings, full backswing and full finish.
    • Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.
    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
